Live Gungings and Wam

Hi guys anyone seen any good wamming or gungeing not taking place on tv or video, i dont mean what you get up to yourselves, for instance for the last 4 years me and my family have been going to a holiday camp in cornwall and the last night of the week the 2 teams have a game show in which the losing team gets gunged and plenty of custard pies fly about during the night, its great fun for the kids and the adults and who knows what such innoccent games could start.

Funny you should say that....

This week there was a great story in our local paper the Hastings & St Leonards Observer about a school fete where they had erected a gunge tank to splosh the teachers. Apparently it somehow malfunctioned spraying gunge all over the school gymnastic team who were doing their routine at the time!

More and more fetes seem to be hiring or building gunge tanks, more people are getting gunged for charity (with the exception of our pub landlady who refuses pointblank)and mess is definitely coming out of the closet.

Bill

PS The school fete was also blighted by another problem. The Army brought along a tank to show the kids which they had to park outside because it would ruin the playing field. Whilst they were waiting to open the fete, some overjealous traffic warden put a ticket on it! True!!

Close Encounters of the gungey kind....

1. We baked beaned a teacher for comic relief around 1993. Not for red nose day, just for comic releif!
2. Saw the "Noel's NSPCC Gunge Plunge Roadshow" at the Royal Cornwall Show
3. At Heroes nightclub in Plymouth (Comic Relief 2003) me and the then gf Triflebabe saw "Manager in Muck " night using a converted portaloo and lots of rice pudding. Needless to say we both got rather ahem "hot" and the bogof cocktails certainly helped to make a hasty exit!

Been to plenty of hen night type things where there was some very public messiness.

Apart from that, only live gunging i've witnessed is stuff i've been a part of!
