The sun is shining and it is a beautiful morning, we hope this is making any hangovers slightly easier to bear . . . anyway, on to the business of last night !

So, all that can be said here is thanks to everyone who came along. As ever, it was good to see everyone and chat to as many people about possible, there was one conversation that involved meerkats and another that seemed revolve around apple crumble recipes as a theme. On closer attention that discussion was coming from one of the tables to the side of our group . . . ( but still, nothing is ever wasted . . . ground almond powder, eh ? Well, I never did . . . but I might do next time ) !

Other topics may well filter back to the collective memory and may even get mentioned in dispatches here and also a roll call will be revealed a bit later on.

Glad you all had a great time. Just to be cheeky can I slightly hijack this thread to remind everybody that the next Warrington meet will be Saturday 18th of April. Hope we can get a decent turn out there too!

Managed to post the list of people who atended from a internet cafe in Kings Cross. Some strange looks from the guys either side of me - imagine me in a business suit with a 5th birthday card with the splosh site on screen! Sod em all...

Meerkats hey? Not that genius advert?

Meerkats as in being Dutch for ' Sea Cat ' , yet they live in the desert or prairie . What is that about ?

The facts could be wrong perhaps but on the face of it, it seems a very obtuse way of naming things . . . !
Meerkats were not compared.
However, it is possible that had the conversation taken the tangent of a ' Meerkat Variety Extravaganza ', each act being introduced by a Master of Ceremonies, then it is entirely likely the opportunity to compere meerkats would have been discussed !

Oddly, that conversation did not happen !!!!!!

Hi Candy's Mum - it was lovely to meet you too. No, I didn't notice about the tipsyness, I think you may have just got away with it !


As for me, an early start coupled with a few pints and I was sound asleep on the train on the way home !
I nearly missed my stop but I was just able to get off at the right station ! So all good there . . . !

Thanks to everyone again and I just hope I didn't ramble on too much about stuff . . . !

Just got back from the trip, was great to see everybody and make some new friends. I think Jammed may be nursing a wee hangover!!! he he he he.

Was nice to meet Candy's mum, also nice to have another little drink or two with Mike nomic.

It was great to see everybody. I'll let Jammed put some of the pics when he gets round it.

i dunno some of them pics are different Sploshman just needs to behave!!! another great night and i even managed to take a pic or two. and behave myself dont know how much i had to drink but my wallet was heavier when i checked it this morning with all the change i had in it!!! good to see people despite having no job i didnt realize i just had a good time.
