Does anybody know if its possible to delete a post? I deleted a picture from one of my posts but without it the remainder of the post made no sense (so what's new? !). I tried the edit button and deleted all the text but it wouldn't accept the blank post after editing. The little black cross for deleting disappeared before I had chance to use it.
Bottoms Up!

my 2p worth...

the same but different.... I can adapt... In fact I think its good to see things moving forward,
in the end, I still feel part of a loving, caring, sharing (messy) family here... a few stylesheet changes won't spoil that...

well done pup..sounds like you earned your wee break...

As before, you delete it by pressing the little red cross above your post. I am not being smug. it took me a while to find the place for Mods to remove a whole thread - not that it's been necessary.

But can you merge a thread, that is the true test. I mod on a forum and splitting and moving I can manage, but mergeing is serious stuff.

I prefer postal forums. :P

Yep I think it's only on the front page of the forum (was it on every page of the old one??), it's just above the red box containing the links to all the different forums. The link says View new posts.

I've got one for you, Pup!

When viewing replies, you used to be able to go straight to the next or previous topic without going via the main page (ie there was a button to do so). I can't find it now. But that might be me being unobservant.

Looks like it was a mod in the last version so didnt exist in this one for some reason. I've added them to the top of the page near the pagination bit. I can move them where ever.

I notice that if I 'Control-Click' on a link, it opens a new tab in Firefox as always, but it also loads the link in the current window.
I used to 'Control-Click' on all unread links to open a bunch of tabs, then work through them - now I can't :(

A minor problem really - and the forum does look WAY smarter... Thanks for the work!

Henry

I've hopefully fixed this now, let me know if it doesnt work for you.

As I use 'View new posts' quite a lot and I believe quite a few people do, I've added the 'View new posts' to the grey bar at the top of the page too. It should now be on every page.

If only all web sites were as responsive, helpful and polite as this one. Many thanks muckypup. :D
