Who's the most famous person you've met?

Let us all know, and give a bit of background about how you met them, where and what they were like.

There's a couple I can think of immediately.

Ray Clemence and Trevor Brooking when they opened a local supermarket, I took the day off school to get my Panini football sticker book signed on the Tottenham and West Ham pages respectively, they seemed friendly enough when they actually turned up.
Not a lot was remarkable since they had a couple of hundred or more kids and parents to sign things for ! It was also a very cold day in January and we were all so cold ( and bored ), just getting them to sign and then to go was all that mattered.

And, of course, I'll never forget the day I met Phil Oakey. I was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar . . . .

:D

Um...well, one of my relatives became "famous" for a while in the early 90's for being brought down from his fighter plane thing in the Gulf War, tortured and then let go for some reason but after that, he wrote a book and was on the news a hell of a lot. Now, he appears occassionally on the news to talk about Iraq. His daughter likes to dress up as Snow White as well! Lol.

Then, I met Judy Blume (author) and got a book signed.

Then a singer called Kavanagh (I think) ages ago.

I intervied Mark Oaten (Local Politician famous for making the news about buying a male prostitute) (the interview was before hand.)

Then I interviewed Peter Osgood (played football for England a while ago). Ok, that is kinda cheating as he used to live a few doors up before he died.

But the best one... Peter Aundre and Jordan!!! I was working at a Zoo and was in my office one day. I heard Peter was in the building so went for a mini walk. Gave up and walked back to my office. On the way back, he was just coming out of the toilet (male toilets right next to my office!!!) and was doing up his flies! He started the convo with me! Jordan was a bitch but lets focus on Peter talking to me! I went all giggly but got their autographs!!!

And I think that is all the celebs so far!

Cliff Richard, was on a tour of a radio station and he was the guest as we were heading out! Being a sci fi geek, met Micheal Dorn (Worf), Marini Sirtis (Troi), met Lis Sladen as well. My mum's claim to fame in June 1975 was the first customer to get North Sea Petrol

Jimmy Carr. He looks like a lego man. Met people from some bands (Wheatus, Lostprophets, Deftones, etc) but I think their fame is debatable.

Wow, Mattbuck!

You once dated someone who was in some way related to a bloke who was apparently in Coldplay? You must have some crazy stories to tell!

I used to do a few acting job on the tv (yes really) mostly background but now and again i would get a decent enough acting job.

Pretty much met the cast of London's Burning, Bad girls and EastEnders among other things.

The nicest person i ever had a banter with was Michelle Collins, best known as Cindy off EastEnders. She is so down to earth and fun to talk to.

I also met Tess Daily in her early days on the show 'Singled Out' we had a good 20 minute natter before between rounds. MTV would mostly pay minor actors like myself to participate in the final rounds, yes it was a dreadful show but it was money for me and i think it done her courier wonders.

Dennis Healey - as a schoolboy, sat opposite him on a tube train when in London with my Dad....he chatted away, asking me where I went to school, hobbies, etc. I was interested in photography, and turned out that he was (and apparently still is) himself quite a keen and accomplished amateur photographer.
