This is the first time I have done this, but I got the costume ages ago for a fancy dress party that never happened, it was a cutie t-shirt, feather boa and sports skirt.
As this was an unplanned session I didn't have much stuff to use, but still managed to get in a bit of a mess, also I was wearing a fancy-dress mask which was fun and different but I couldn't really see what was happening or where the food was going, but I found that this made it more fun.
I cleaned the costume and everything survived except the feathers,so I can use it again as I like to get multiple sessions out of my clothes.
All I can say is thanks to people on this forum because by reading other peoples posts it gave me new ideas for things to try, and also things not to try due to problems cleaning up etc.
As an amusing end to this experience I had just finished cleaning the bathroom and had the costume hanging up to dry in there when the estate agents rang to say someone wished to view the house that night!!!
Luckily I told them I was working nights and they came today, I had spent ages last night making sure everything was clean and smelling sweet.
I wondered if anyone else has had a near miss like this?
