Yes, I agree about serious motoring offences, speeding, etc., of course.

I think the resentment comes from heavy penalties for trivial matters such as minor parking issues, and the high taxes on licences, fuel, etc., which is just a source of government revenue from those (i.e. most) of us who have no option but to drive. It's easy to get that money, but more effort to prosecute drivers without insurance or licence.

I have a fortnightly 100 mile (about 2-3 hours) journey by car for business, and I recently went on the government website to see their suggestion for alternative public transport.....nearly 8 hours each way by train and bus, which then left me late at night at a station about 8 miles from here, with no way to get home except walking or taxi!

Rant over. :(

I was really worried about these new laws as they seemed so unclear so thanks to all the posts explaining things as I feel I can post again on here without fear as sploshing seems to be within the law. Was worried about buying splosh downloads too after the date but they seem to be legal to buy?

There has been some recent events in the North as far as kinky things go. One place was raided by Police and even the Fire Brigade just because a mistress was providing hot wax sessions.

It turned out she didn't break any laws but she still got a visit :(

Then some off duty police in the pub were discussing the new laws coming in and one joked out loud "Countdown to cage a kinkster day".

My concern is that the new vague laws will give the powers that be a reason to say bully people they may not like in their neigbourhood. I luckily don't wear my kinky side on my sleave and I am so glad I don't now. One of my mates knows but will be keeping it totally under wraps from now on. What about the people who dress in alternative gear etc if say the cops don't like them they could use the new laws as a reason to raid their homes. There is so much important real crime going on that remains unsolved that I don't know how the hell this stupid law got passed.

Its not fair, its just not fair. Like Bill says simply picking on the small guys.

I can assure you all our downloads are 100 per cent legal! They have to pass Visa/Mastercard's rules which are far more stringent than even the new laws!

Messy images are absolutely fine. It is pain and injury that the law is really after. Bearing that in mind, since no-one gets hurt, perhaps sploshing could be the new S&M...
