well... So many clothing combos to choose from. One of my favs is a leather skirt combined with a white blouse and modest heels for shoes. A good combination to go with.

Can't believe nobody else has said tights (pantyhose). (Well, you knew I'd say that didn't you! LoL). Ideal if wearing several pairs and a tight little lycra mini plus clingy lycra top as it's like having vacuum-pack over the boobs. Tights are best for pouring lots of gloop into them and striding around - doesn't leak out too fast when you have several pairs on, which feels fantastic. (Recently toying with the idea of getting some latex ones - leak-free guaranteed! ;-)

I love most clothes when messy but my faves are probably Goth style,long velvet medieval dresses,& pvc.

I love wearing dungarees and boilersuits for getting messy. The dungarees are great for pouring stuff inside the bib and and both are equally good for messy decorating routines.

On a personal note, I like just about all outfits!! Not so keen on lingerie, bikinis etc. Big frocks don't do it for me like smart outffits (probably cos I've never known people who wear them) and workwear can be fun.

Dungaree fans are in for a treat later today (all being well!)

I also find the contrast between really smart, or glamous clothes, hair and make up and getting messy is what really turns me on.

I also like stockings and satiny type blouses, etc - which is to do with the texture I think - they are tactile. Sploshing has the same sensual quality - the feel of the substances sliding over hair, face and clothes.

Though it is really the comic/'humliating' aspect of sploshing I like - there does seem to be some basic feelings around messing about with food and getting your smart clothes messed up - which was very naughty when young.

At the same time as your Mum was telling you off about getting food down your clothes, you were (or I was anyway!) watching silent comedies of smartly dressed posh women getting pied. Or occassionally tv comedy or circus acts, which usually feautured a haughty, smart woman getting messy.

Not so keen on workwear myself, but uniforms are a turn on, since they involve an authority figure getting their come uppance.

Interesting observation there, Starbrightnight, I think you've hit on one of the reasons for our interest in wam.

Kids have always enjoyed being mischievous, it's part of growing up, and testing the limits of what's "acceptable" to adults....think Kid's tv, comics, etc., where the characters can do things that wouldn't be allowed in real life. And, up to maybe the 1960's, mention of sex wasn't generally considered acceptable in "polite" circles....or, if so, sometimes in a comic way (Benny Hill, seaside postcards, etc.), which wouldn't be seen in real life.

It doesn't take much imagination to see how this can all merge together in our subconscious.

Any psychologists around? :lol:

See the points made in the last couple of replies. I am into WAM because of the anarchy of it and that includes seeing smartly dressed, glamourous girls getting their clothes trashed.

For meit has to be really smart, or sexy, outfits. I like uniforms particularly but not actual "functional" ones. They have to be sexy versions, ie a real NHS nurses uniform does not do anything for me but a naughty sex shop one is a turn on.

Dungarees and workwear do nothing for me as they are hardwearing clothes, I like to see the girls outfits destroyed, this is the anarchic element .

Odd is'nt it how an outfit you really like you want to see ruined!

It's all interesting - personally, I recognise the sentiments expressed by the above posters, and particularly Mr Angry, however I reverse his feelings in so much as for me the real Nurses uniform, works so much better than the Anne Summers version, as it adds a touch of authenticity thereby augmenting the 'anarchy' of the scene. At least I think that's why it works for me that way round!

Could discuss this for aaaaaagggess!

For me, it is dressing up as a real character probably based on the bossy, bitchy side of me (believe me, it exists) and then having it get the treatment it deserves. So formality is more important than sexuality. The sexiness comes from the destruction of the formality (you still with me?), and when I am the person being destroyed it works as a double whammy for me - the sensuality of the mess and the fabulous humiliation of someone who is me but isn't me, if you get my drift?

So uniforms and suits are my biggies. Slutty stuff like PVC for when I want to be the bad girl instead of the boss, but she still gets reduced to a wreck, of course!

Casual clothes don't work for me at all!

I love the slutty look,short dresses/skirts etc; all ready for submission!!Part of the thrill for me is spending ages 'tarting'myself up for a night out,only for it to end getting totally messed up!

I love getting into character when sploshing,this determines the whole atmosphere of the session,I prefer that to the 'sit-on-chair-have-stuff-poured-over-you,-smile!' stuff!!I like to have a reason why my immaculate & sexy clothes are getting covered in food!Too bad?Too good? Bossy?Not as bossy as my Boss?

For me Lycra is the best thing to wear for messy fun.

I personally like the feel of it anyway as well of the look of it on others (well ok - on girls) and also think it's great to get messy in.
You can fill it with mess and do all kinds of things... and even better it always washes out too!
