... some lovely buses that bring back happy memories. I used to go to school in Teddington and caught the No 27, which I believe was an AEC Regent and the route Matt Monroe used to drive.
and finally... where would be without the inter-web, there's even a Wiki entry on the Route 27; which includes this interesting fact: "The route was cut back to Richmond on Mondays to Fridays in 1970, with a new localised 270 (which later became the R70) replacing the service to Teddington, although the weekend service continued to run through until 1982." I actually found this entry interesting.
I must spend less time with people my own age.
