Really enjoyed the two Bristol Splunch's, so time for my first ever London meet - I'll be there

Ok...so this isnt really funny anymore! I had everything planned and even kissed my bosses arse to get the day off but things are not looking good for this meet. To start with...I have ended up with no money whatsoever as my car needed a new clutch last week (damn cars!) and just like that...my money disappeared (and I still have to pay some of it!). So £400 later, there is less than no money in my bank account. So, I then thought, I would work longer hours at work to get more tips to pay for a train, bus and drinks...only to find that I am working 10 hours this week (bear in mind, its meant to be FULL TIME job!) so I have now got £3 cash on me.

There is more but those are the major things and long story short, I wont be attending. You may have got from this message that me being unhappy about this is an understatement and you would be correct.

I am so sorry but there will always be others that with more planning (and no expensive car repairs before hand) I WILL be able to make.

Already the Imperial hotel has had to break out the penthouse Suite! WHY!! 'Cos I am Coming!!' Virgin trains 'Have had to put aside an ENTIRE! train! why 'Cos I Andy250 am coming to London!'

Work do tonight. Had not intended to go but the bosses really want everyone to make it as a teamwork thing so sort of roped into it. I couldn't really say where I was going instead so I caved in to them. Well they pay my wages so sort of little choice for me

I hope to make another meet in London and hope to see some people at the Warrington meet in March.

Just got in from London Meet, it was a blast as always! Sadly my last train was cancelled from London to Bedford, just a shame First Capital Connect had to chock up over One Hundred and Fifty Quid on my cab home. Ha ha ha. It was the taxi drivers lucky day!

Another fantastic night had by all. Plenty of beer dunk as always! Thank you to all who come along.

Others are already asking when the next meet is?. A date is to be confirmed but it's looking likely for March 2009, but don't go booking your train tickets just yet! We will confirm a date shortly.

Got back about 2'oclock, not a bad journey from London really, had a great time, good too see everybody again. I spent most of the night drinking!!! terrible. Rich is currently sporting a beard!! thats mad!!!

Noise found the pub after some directions from Easy, Mel turned up and strarted getting the weird ales in!!! (Mike nomic would have been proud! their was even one called anti-freeze!)

Will post more later, once my brain works.
