Good point Hayley - what age is 'mature' these days. All those mentioned by posters are women who are considered extremely attractive and sexy - their age doesn't really come into it.
These days 40s is considered young - when a woman is in her prime.
Though i am someone who has said in posts that i am attracted to 'mature' women, but even while saying it, i've been aware that I'm not defining what i mean. Well, perhaps i would say 50 plus.
I do think woman get more attractive as they get older. The look of character and experience as opposed to a bland young face. Maybe a fuller, more voluptuous figure. The knowledge that they could teach you a thing or two.
Women are definitely attractive at any age today - a woman who I know and really fancy, I recently found out to be 70! She has a way about her - very classy and elegant, that perhaps comes with age and experience.
Anyway, it's definitely true that women these days can still be sexy at any age - and i don't think you can say the same for most men!

Perhaps a clearer definition of the word 'mature' is needed.
Think of a fine wine; different wines and different vintages of the same wine mature at different speeds. You can also keep a wine in the cellar for too long and it will go past its best. This is not directly linked to age; it is an error to think that the older the wine the better.
I believe the above also applies to ladies, the 'best' ones are not necessarily the oldest or the youngest, it depends on the woman herself. A good vintage will remain at her best for a long time, while an inferior one will go off quickly.
Having just re-read this post I realise it is very sexist so I shall probably receive some abuse at the meet on Thursday. Can I please defuse the matter by apologising in advance?

Bottoms Up!
I would like to see JK Rowling getting messy. She is in her early 40s now. And Joely Richardson who is also about the same age.
