Just as filmmakers use fake blood with an improbably bright red hue in order to look 'real' under filming conditions, there would be a certain irony if the same applied to manure - that only fake stuff looked real enough when filmed....
It wasn't that long ago that I'd punch someone in the face when they pissed me off; now I just delete them from Facebook - that'll show the mother-fuckers...

They could be using compost and water as that is what it looks like. Cow manure is olive in colour.
