(it is expensive to make bank transfers from the UK for small amounts of Euros...credit cards are better, but we don't want anything "unusual" appearing on the statements. )

On monday I got the pics for the cd, now I am ready to fix them on the cd; I think I can manage it on this weekend. I will send information of how to pay to all of you who sent me an ordering mail on muddymodels@gmx.de and will ask you for the adress to send the cd to.

@grungyartist: Yet we don´t have the means to make proper films; there are only pictures on the cd. But we will try to move to movies next year. We even intend to increase our means for taking photos to get even better pics next time.

@etonman: Since we are new to this business - could you give us a hint on how to make payment easier and cheaper for our costumers? Is Paypal a good idea? I just was thinking of giving you a German bank account to pay to with these "BIC"- an "IBAN"-Numbers for international payment - but if there are better ways please let me know.

Well, Paypal don't like dealing with anything considered to be "Adult" - and can (and have, I believe) both withheld funds collected, and terminated payment facilities when used for such purposes. If you have a Paypal facility for a non-adult business, perhaps you could use that with a special code for this CD?

Paying internationally to a foreign account number is not such a cheap option from the UK, and is not the way most people would prefer to pay, I suspect - my banking is completely online, so I'd be happy that way, but probably not most.

I assume you won't be able to take credit cards?

A number of small WAM producers use a facility provided (indirectly via the UMD, I think) for this purpose - The Mothership, is its name, I believe, which does take cards and provides immediate downloads, BUT I'm not sure if they'll allow manure pics - you'd have to find out. I've only heard good things from people who use them though, and I've bought from them several times, so they have an existing reputation.

what you could do is give everyone the picture for free, haha. that way they'll be more willing to purchase next summer, and it gives you time to sort things out, no?

Thats a great idea grungyartist. We could pm MuddyModels our email addy's and they send us on this set of pics as a promotion This will give them more time to get their e-billing sorted out. Then they charge as normal on the next set they do when I can use my new pre-paid credit card and the credit crunch might have started to lift (we all can hope can't we).

Bill and Hayley have a download store but they also furnish us with lots of top class free sets of pics in the FREEHOUSE. There are loads of classic sets on there like Lucky Buckets and Giggles Flies Into Trouble. So if they can let us have some free sets from time to time why not try it for once MuddyModels?

I don't regularly expect something for nothing or on the cheap, but you have a good point. We've only seen a couple of piccies so far....a better sample of what's being done would encourage us to support the project properly.
I don't know how much is being asked for the CD's, but almost everyone has to watch their spending right now. Thankfully, I'm a bit more solvent than some of my friends at the moment (two of them out-of-work last week), but I'm definitely having to think twice about spending on things that are not essential.

Where there's a will, there's a way - sometimes a more creative solution is called for!

You could, for example, offer an acceptable (non-manure, non-adult) picture set via PayPal - if you were to sell this as a zipped, password protected file, you'd presumably have a valid transaction - and then also an address to which you could separately ship the manure CD, which might just have the same password.

Convoluted, I agree, but possible?

I just got myself a PayPal-account - let´s see if it works... Studying their homepage I didn´t find any obstacles to manage the payment for the manure cd´s. We could aggree to call them CDCD´s (which means Cow Dung CD´s) and no other people will know what is meant

You suggested that we give you pictures for free. I decided to do that really. The reason is: I have to admit that the photographic quality of the pics we took in the manure pit is not as good as I expected them to be. They are not really bad, but they could be better. I am dissappointed of the new camera which has better technical data (compared to the one used for the "snap shots") without producing matching results. There is no doubt that you will enjoy the sight of Uschi and Steffi wallowing in manure even on these pics, but to avoid any kind of dissappointment among our costumers I will add a 2nd CD for free and send it to everyone who buys the first CD. This 2nd CD will display Steffi as a bride in an opulent white brand new wedding gown and Uschi as the registrar wearing skirt, vest and jacket. Both play in the dirt of a farm on a rainy day. While making the photos suddenly a very heavy rain came down - you will enjoy a soaking wet bride on a heap of manure and a registrar showering under a leaking roof of a shed. Finally both wallow in steaming fresh cow dung in the cow shed and rip their clothes. All this was photographed by a professional photographer with a Canon EOS professional camera. The pics were made for a fashion label that wanted to use them in commercials and adverts but suddenly decided not to do so (in opposite to the 6 other labels that like our pics very much), so I can use them in other ways

I even will give you some more pics of Steffi and Uschi in cow dung here in the forum; but for usage in public forums they asked me to only choose pics, where you cannot see their faces. On the CD the faces will be visible
