I don't think Bill or Hayley want this forum to become a list of threads plugging commercial sites without any contribution. You see Miss T chatting on threads, not just her own and on the ones she does some advertising on she post lots of great messy pics.

What is good about the Splosh forum is the general level of banter on topics with a good mix of user and commercial contributions. If I wanted to see a comprehensive directory of messy producers with very little splosh banter I'd simply go to the other site that caters for this.

If this forum became a long list of producers plugging their own websites with no pics then I wouldn't come here as often. It would lose its unique status.

My opinion anyway for whatever it is worth.

If you read and understood the above post you would have seen that I intend to post more pics in the next few days of our latest clip ! Unfortunatly I don`t have any pics on this pc and wont be back till later in the week. If you don`t want us here fine , we will leave you all to it, Bill knows my views and I am new to the scene and trying to find my feet. Either you guys want this material or you don`t, if you don`t I drop the sites altogether and go back to just renting the tank out , its no loss to me as Im not earning out of this !

Hi dunktankbabes, don't take what people are saying in this thread too personally, it's a long running debate on the forum whether or not there are too many commercial posts or not. Generally people don't mind so long as there's plenty of pictures, and not too much pushing by the same person.

I'd guess that if you want to put threads on here, keep it down to one a week, and if there is a preview video somewhere that isn't youtube, just put up one or two pics and a link to the video... I'd definitely be interested in the gunge pool for sure

With all the coments tho Jon I do wonder is it worth it. We make no money from the film clips its only the private sessions that generate any money. The films just cover the cost of the girls.

The gunge tank is gonna be fun, but expensive. Reckon we`ll need around 20 to 30 kilos of Natrosol to fill it up ! gotta be done tho, may well get some other producers involved on that one if it works.

I am reluctant to reply to this and bump it still further. 1500 hits for a post that doesn't contain one picture of what it says in the title is unfair on the members.

It seems we are going to have to post a list of rules for commercial companies (not just this one) to make our 'code of conduct' (as UMD would call it) clear. I'll do this soon.

A basic on just about any forum is "no pics, no plug". There is already a forum that lists everyone so we don't need to. WE ARE HERE TO ENTERTAIN OUR MEMBERS. If you want to entertain them with pics of what you have been doing, fine, then you can add a plug. This forum is for the benefit of the members not anyone using it solely for advertising. So if you can't find any pictures, wait until you can before promoting yourself.

Any decisions about whether it is financially worthwhile making films rather than just do private sessions is entirely up to you. It is not something to blackmail members with - in a 'be nice to us or we won't show you anything' way. We are all very grateful when commercial outlets do share pictures and anecdotes about sessions and that's all we ask - that you think about entertaining first, advertising second.

I re-iterate, this applies to all commercial posters not just one.

Like Bill i am reluctant to comment here,but for different reasons. However this last comment to me just does not make sense.
As is common knowledge i have been doing photography of wam for over 8 years now and been involved with 2 popular websites.

Both myself and the girls involved have also extensively used these forums to not only add comment and banter on other threads but also to post pics of our latest messy offerings and to try and judge what people like to see most or get ideas and suggestions from people.

Now i am not going to sit in judgement but to me if a producer like Dunktankgirls wishes to /decides to make films it is for a purpose.

The best and only way for anybody to see the finished film/clip is to ADVERTISE it somewhere.

Yes i know the "Other Forum" is very Producer Orientated whereas this one is a lot more friendlier but Splosh does still play a large part in advertising peoples wares and offerings.

I agree totally in what both Bill and Hayley have been saying for months now regarding advertising posts without getting involved in the forum, if you cant be bothered to post some pics dont bother at all.

If you post some pics add some input then more people will look at them,probably go to your site and if they like it will probably sign up for a period. Its not rocket science, just play by the rules give people what they want and you should expand your sales.
