Ah, Penelope Pitstop and her thinly disguised S+M games with Sylvester Sneakly, who she knew full bloody well was the hooded claw. He'd tie her up in his rubbish deathtraps which she'd gamely struggle with before releasing herself and going off to the next one. Often she'd have to use her mechanical skills gained in Wacky Races to sabotage Chugaboom to prevent the Anthill mob showing up and interfering in her and Sylvester's love games - it was never clear if she couldn't bring herself to tell them to naff off or if she got a kick out of fucking with them, but it was probably the latter.

Classic stuff indeed!

As a huge cartoon fan, and moderately knowledgeable about the work of Hanna-Barbera, I would love to do this. However, the company that now owns them (probably Warner Bros as they own just about everything) are notoriously defensive of their character rights, so some name changing would have to be done.

Incidentally, in Wacky Races (on a good day I can run through all the competitors with their descriptions as per the title sequence), Penelope was revealed in one episode to have a button labelled 'vibrator' on her dashboard. Sadly it was not a Gilly/Candy-style dildo but a device to vibrate the car.

For some reason Louise strikes me as a good Penelope.
