Hello - My First Post

Hello Everyone,

After a long time observing and enjoying this forum from a discrete distance I have finally decided to join your happy band.

Briefly, something about myself. Sploshing has been an interest of mine for many years. I am now fast approaching "the grumpy old git" stage of my life (which I may add I am working at with unrelenting enthusiasm) but the interest remains undiminished. I have no real idea of why I enjoy it so much but that is of little concern, all I need to know is that it is fun.

Jim

Perhaps Bill was suggesting that our little population might include those with amnesia or Alzheimer's, for whom the correct spelling of 'referring' is too much of a struggle.

Mike, a grumpy middle-aged git, growing grumpier and older disgracefully.

I don't know about Alzheimers - but I've got 'Old-timers' - is that the same?

(They give us Old-Timers here in our maximum twilight security home, Viagra - it stops us rolling out of bed at night)

Ouch! You got me there, Mike. It's a fair cop, I posted in a hurry and omitted my usual checks.

Well, I'm definitely a (youngish) grumpy git, and proud of it. :D

And my significant-other has just suggested that it's a good thing that there's no laws against eccentricity, otherwise I'd have been locked up years ago.
