What is someone supposed to do on a cold summers day in Britain? Go for a swim of course!

That was so nice I headed home and got the thinnest shorts and t-shirt for another go

On the way home I decided to check on the canal but it was covered in weeds. Then I spotted something I have always wanted to try and the temptation was too much so the 'driving home' clothes got a soaking as well.

If anyone fancies a swim next Saturday the 19th July I will be there at 10:30am approximately. I may try smart this time but will bring some other things as well. There is a secluded spot nearby for drying and changing and the car can be parked nearby as well. If you want to find the spot I have marked it on the Youtube map. Otherwise you will have to email me.

I should have mentioned the area is between Grantham and Newark, not far from the A1, so easy reach for lots of people.

Sorry, but for any of those thinking of coming I must postpone as apparently I have to be in Loughborough next Saturday morning. I will announce a new date soon and hope that someone might want to join me for a bit of a laugh in the river.

OK I now have a free Saturday so if anyone cares to join me for a dip in the river let me know. Water is nice, secluded area to change, not far from the road.
