Old pictures

As part of my 'back catalogue' I have loads of commercial slides which I guess I cannot show you as the copyright is still in force (wetset). However I do have some pictures from a weekend at Tenby hosted by the one and only Bill Shipton. Now I guess I can show you these but I will wait to se if there any objections first. One pic shown as a sample

No objections, just curious; isn't that shot from the set of the WSM7 video 'Wheel of Misfortune', probably the best of the WSM tapes?

Hi

Me with hair - yay! Sadly the suit like the hair is long gone!

Anyway, I have no problem with you posting the pics. Officially I didn't host the Tenby weekend, I just MCed it and that particular shoot started as WSM's, (the rest was mine but done for fun rather than commercially) but I am sure Mike from WSM would have no problem with you showing more pics from it. If you aren't able to, I will try and provide credits where possible.

I think that first picture is from WSM 4: WSM'll Fix It rather than WSM7. I seem to remember ending up in the mud with Sammy later on - which did for the gold trousers - and doesn't appear on the video (though you may have captured it!). if you did, I have no problem with you sharing it as the 2nd half of the session was my gig.

Cheers
Bill

I really like the dress that the lady 2nd from the left is wearing - I do hope something spectacularly messy happened to it? 8)

That gold suit rocks too - meet the new Bond villian / I mean / gunger - Goldsplosher! :D

No, it's a girl called Rachel though Hay had very similar hair at that time! But she's taller than that!

As I recall this is the start of the messy disco dancing sketch from WSM4 so yes they all got wrecked.

It's the final food fight scene from WSM'll Fix It.

Left to right: Lorraine, Rachel, Melanie, Mirrel, Debbie - with Carol just out of shot to the right.

When this pic was taken, those girls are about 60 seconds away from being totally covered in custard, soup, chocolate, ketchup, flour and all kinds of other mess.

They all get their clothes stripped off, ending up topless.

Lorraine has black panties, rachel: white, Melanie: blue, Mirrel: white, Debbie: white and Carol: red. All have stockings on and most of them have food poured into their underwear.

Yes - I've watched this scene more than 100 times! I envy you having seen it live ... it's one of my all time favourites - I wish more companies were doing WAM of this quality.

Yes they all got wrecked in WSM4 WSM'll Fix It (available now from us etc etc etc).

PS Back to the original question...I am not sure that posting the commercial transparencies in large numbers is a great idea. Some examples of the early Wet Shot days would be appreciated I am sure but whole sets would be taking the piss a bit out of the poor sods who took them all those years ago (no, not me!).

but are the pics from WSM'll Fix It commerical transparencies? Or are they his own private photos?

Surely even if they're commercial, he could post a few select pics ... free advertising if the original copyright owner is still selling them.

It would be so awesome for some of those early messy shoots to finally see the light of day.

I think that's exactly what I just said, Phantom...

Commercial photos in small quantities (not entire sets) with full credit is fine. Personal pictures are fine. What isn't fair is posting large quantities of photos from commercial sets.
