One field was reserved for mudvolley!
I drove a couple of hours from Belgium to Holland to have a look if it was worth it.
And it was!

It was the second year that they organised it because you don't find many mudvolleyball events in Europe and certainly not in Belgium or Holland.
Helas, they only had 4 teams to compete.
I went there with a friend (not my girlfriend) and we volunteerd to join one of the teams. They said yes! So in the mud we went with the clothes we were wearing at the time, t-shirt and jeans. They were all amazed that we went in the mud without taking of our jeans.

The downside was that not many people, adults, joined in the fun.
Perhaps they're not yet ready for this.
They mud they used was clay-like which was really sticky and afterwards you could run into the lake to wash it of.
It was a great day!
