Yes, certainly some of us will still be around until 7.00pm (ish), and then moving on somewhere for a meal, more drink and more chat.

Welcome along Vitcoria, it would be lovely to see you there.

Oh, how lovely - a weekend in the country for the famous shirt.

Looking forward to seeing it, and you.

Mike.

Yes, the shirt is rather excited ( anything with that many colours is bound to get a little hyper-active at the slightest opportunity ) . . . I am having to iron it on an hourly basis just to calm it down ! In fact I am ironing it as I type ! So, please don't phone me for the next five minutes . . . .

Anyway,

:D
Who ate all the pies ? What a waste of pie !

Just to make you aware, all pubs in bristol could be slightly busy on this day as its the play off final involving Bristol City, but with the moomin side bet, should make it very interetsing!

Just checked my Senior Railcard  , it expires on 25th May! It would be a shame not to use it so consider me as a 'probable'. :)

Well of course Bristol has two teams, Bristol City and Bristol Rovers, with a long-standing antipathy between their respective supporters. So roughly half of Bristol's football supporters won't be interested, and about 36,000 will be at Wembley. Bristol could be bordering on deserted. :D

Mike, have you made a list of who's coming? Also, how do we recognise each other; the London lot used an A-Z originally but thats not needed now. I have met you and Candy but not everyone has and I don't know all the west country folk.

Any others who'd like to come are more than welcome - the more the merrier.

Richard, I've just seen your post on the topic review that appears at the bottom when you're writing a reply, so I'll have my Bristol A-Z with me, and may be wearing a local T-shirt.

Can I say that Jane is a question mark. Dante's also a question mark, joys of a pub job

Ah, perhaps you could all try out the Bristol fountains for the forum? See London Fountains thread.

I think an illustrated Water Feature Map of Britain is called for.

You can say what you like within reason - she's your missus!

Does this make him a pub quiz?

Can I just say 'Oh, bugger' ... that's two moved from the definites to the probables.

Who's going to move from the possibles to the confirmed to make up the numbers?

Not in Britain but here's a fountain in Antibes that's just asking to be walked through :D .
