Messy Fun Meltdown

Postby BillShipton » 08 Apr 2008, 13:07

Hi

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but as you may be aware Messy Fun are no longer with us in many respects. George, the guy who bought the firm from the late Rob Blaine, was forced to sell MF as part of his Thursday Night Video business to a major porn outlet. It seems the new owners aren't remotely interested in the 'messy' element and only wanted George's other sexy subjects so it seems MF will be left to fade away. A sad end to Rob's excellent creation.

As a result, we will no longer be able to supply their more recent output (they have been impossible to contact for ages as some of you might know).

However we DO have stocks of the following videos:

Seabrook Mud Wrestling
Pie Wedgies
Bath Collection
At the Messy Movies
Celeste & Caitlyn (1 only!)
Simply Clay and
Simply Wet

Many of these at reduced prices (see our Spring Sale in MessyBay).

However we will not be able to renew these so to keep a taste of Rob's fine work for yourself, order them now before they disappear for ever! PAL VHS only.

Bill

PS Although recent MF material is no longer available from us, we can now order Mud Puddle Visuals DVDs on your behalf so you can pay in UK currency nd be warned when they are going to arrive. So check out their site and feel free to place your order through us.[/b]

That is sad, Messy Fun alongside Splosh were two of my first online WAM finds.

The question is then, if it's been left to rot, will it find it's way to the torrent sites? I mean, if no-one wants it anymore, shouldn't it be free to all? There are literally hundreds of gigs of stuff there. My own stash is at least 10 to 15G, and that's only a small bite of what was available.

It is still the intellectual property of the new owners and they have paid for it (albeit not very much and only cos they wanted the Up Skirt videos) so what happens is up to them. I know that steps are being taken to avoid pirating but as for the site content I couldn't say.

No, absolutely not. At least not if people want the production of new material to carry on.

This is very sad news indeed. Messy Fun was one of the first sites that we discovered on the net and we have enjoyed always their early stuff and the relationship that Rob and Daisy had with their customers. After George took over it was a different set up but the forum that was set up was a fun place to chat and share stuff.

It will all be sadly missed. :(
Kind regards, Spinynorman and Frilly

Still messing about after all these years!

What disappointing news. Great to see that we will never forget the late and very great Rob Blaine. His work has inspired many of us. For me Messy Fun just hasn't been the same since dear Rob departed this mortal coil. Let his enthusiasm live on in us all.

Some of it's already on torrent sites. I've seen 'sorority hell' on a torrent site, for example.

Is that the 'How I lost my panties at ..." Sorority Hell?

The multi-girl pie fight in that is one of the finest I've seen in a long while. Those tight summer dresses and mini-skirts and the sneaky skirt-lift and slap on the arse with such explosively sloppy pies is an absolute joy. Does it for me every time!

Sad to hear that MF is no more. Rob Blaine must be gyrating by now!

WOW - Messyfun.com is not shutting down and all these posts are rumors.
Messyfun was sold, but it was not sold because the new owners wanted " upskirt content" haha.

MessyFun is getting a long overdue Facelift and clean up. We have already started production and finished lots of new shoots. I will post samples later tonight.

Keep an eye on the site over the next few weeks, give me some feedback on what you think of the new stuff.

Whilst the news of Messy Fun's demise may have been overly hasty, it was not based on rumour. Several long established and reputable companies reported this to us as they had been trying to deal with MF for several months on a variety of business matters with no success.

If this was purely a temporary problem whilst the new owners - who I believe are a large porn company - take over and relaunch Messy Fun then we wish them the best of luck. We await any new material with interest.

We would certainly welcome any sort of continuation of Messy Fun with interest and delight. Don't suppose we will ever get the old community spirit back that it one had though.
