Yes, this is so sad but totally understandable as it must have taken so much time and effort. Thanks for all that Miss H. I hope we shall see you around soon.
The popularity of the Wamdrogony site shows just how many of us are into crossdressing and sploshing. It seems that the two do go together for so many of us.
It was lovely to have somewhere that made you feel "wow - there are people who really do understand that connection". The splosh site is a good home for us but that specific duality - that feeling of 'yes everyone here is into exactly the same two things' - isn't quite as strong of course.
Perhaps Bill would consider making a CD forum to make it easier to see all the CDs together in a 'concentrated hit', though I'm sure we'd all still participate in the non-CD-specific stuff in the regular forum pages too!?

If the majority of Wamdrogeners would prefer a separate area (on the strict understanding they take part in the main forum as well) then we would consider it. Personally I see sploshing as all one thing whatever we wear so don't differentiate between the two, but it is up to you folks.

Oooh - I may not have put that across quite the way it looked, DD. I'm not suggesting that we create a self-imposed Ghetto! It's just that I sometimes find myself chatting to other CDing sploshers but quite often it's more about related but not directly sploshy things (the clothes, where to get them, how to get them to fit a bloke's body, which other CDing sploshers we know etc), than it is about just the sploshing aspect.
For the latter, the normal forum would still be brilliant but for the former, most people on here wouldn't be interested and wouldn't want that sort of quite specific and slightly off-topic chat cluttering up the main board, in the same way that trying to talk about sploshing would be seen as off-topic to those on a 'normal' crossdressers' forum. It's just nice to be able to talk about clothes or wigs or makeup and still be able to mention the effects of custard or mud on them, in passing, without the other person going 'eh? what?' as they would on a normal CD forum where people just wouldn't understand.) I think the explanation in the forum index page would be able to make that distinction adequately.
Thanks Bill. There are currently 222 members listed on Wamdrogony, most of whom I've never seen on here. Admittedly (as is always the case with the internet) most of those are only occasional visitors/lurkers so I suspect that posting on the wamdrogony site before it goes down would only be spotted by a small number. I haven't posted very often on it myself and only visit from time to time - it was fairly 'slow moving' as I think we all did that - so I don't expect it would be very different here but it was evidently a useful 'base' for many people where they felt they belonged.
I suspect Miss Helen (as site owner) would be able to do a mass mailing to all of them to tell them that they have a new 'spiritual home', if she wouldn't mind. It could certainly boost the numbers here and I think that a 'marginally off-topic transgendered sploshers' forum might help to attract them (and the many others) into the main forum too, especially after the reception that most of us have experienced at a certain other forum.

As a member of Wamdrogony, I too would like to express my condolences for the demise of that site; it was a nice home. At the same time, however, I wish Miss Helen all the best of luck in whatever the future holds, and hope that she drops by here from time to time.
I completely agree with Claymore_wam regarding the combination of crossdressing and sploshing. For decades I thought I must be the only person who longed to jump into a pool while fully crossdressed. Then along came the Internet, and lo and behold ---.
Although I have decided to make the move to this site, I believe that a separate "CD Forum" would be in the best interest of all members. This is because I know of another similar site where crossdressers who post pics of themselves tend to draw a significant number of negative comments and criticism. Clearly those critics are not comfortable with CDs posting pics in their forum; hopefully the members of Splosh are more open-minded.
Let's find out!
Within the next day or so, I will post my first set to this forum. It will be called "My Wet Yellow Suit" and is the same set I attempted unsuccessfully to upload to "Wetter is Better" on Wamdrogony a week ago. Here is a preview:

thanks for sharing darlin
if you take a look on here, you'll see that CD sploshing pics don't draw negative comments, quite the contrary. Apart from our resident village idiot who pops up at every set posted saying something like "custard is messier you know" or "you know that isn't a woman" ....everyone else is very positive, particularly myself as i'm a big fan of crossdressing and mess put together
....If CD's would feel more comfortable with a seperate forum then obviously it can happen
And Claymore I didn't think you were trying to do that, I just like the idea that on our forum things work quite nicely blended together!

As Dolly says, we have a very different attitude here to a lot of the members of that other forum you mentioned.
In a perfect world I would like to keep the forum as one to celebrate the diversity of sploshing, fairly safe in the knowledge that CDs don't get dissed by idiots here like they do elsewhere. I can see Claymore's point about WAM tips for CDs but I still think they would be alright in the main area. But like I say it's your choice, girls.
Nice picture by the way.

Personally I'd like to see things kept together, as otherwise it does tend to cause a bit of ghettoisation, IMHO - but as I've yet to get the nerve to post any sploshing pics of me at all, nevermind CDd (have done it once or twice, but really don't have the figure - should have done it 20 years ago!), I'm just throwing in a few pence worth.
Would be nice to see more other people here for whom the clothes are as important as the mess!

I for one would like to see the board integrated. We TV's get a great welcome here so my personal preference is to post on the main board.
Whoops, I did it again.

Especially seeing as sharing in the shower has its restrictions, eh dear?

I've never been on wamdrogony, but everyone is so friendly here I'm sure we don't need a separate cd-splosh forum! We'd end up with seperate forums for beans, etc!

Hi all
Back in the UK again for a while, and would say YES, YES, YES to Wamdrogeny members coming and joining us. The CD crowd have great ideas, great fun and, of course, great frocks so we'd love them to share their sploshing with us.
Sadly, we can't replicate the wonderful work of Miss Helen who managed to combine being erudite with also being gorgeous (spit!) but I fully understand her need to do other things now and again. Just please promise you'll visit us once in a while!
For more not very wise words please see my post We Welcome Wamdrogeners.
Off to cry in a corner at the news I make never get to meet Helen in her schoolie uniform!
