I've been playing around with a few things on the forum which will hopefully make life a bit easier for people.
There has always been a bit of a balancing act keeping people on broadband and people on dial up happy. People on broadband would generally like BIG pictures in posts so they dont have to click on the thumbnails all the time to view the fullsized images, and people on dial up struggle a bit downloading even small pictures.
You can now choose the size of pictures you want displaying in the posts. If you go to the Profile link above you will now see a "Choose your picture size:" option.
If you want mainly thumbnails in your posts by default (dial-up) choose the small option. If you are on broadband and want mainly full sized images in the posts by default choose "Large" or "SuperSize"

There are 4 options.
Small - images over 30kb will be shown as thumbnails (nearly all)
Medium - as it is now - images over 100kb shown as thumbnails
Large - images over 250kb shown as thumbnails
SuperSize - only images over 500kb will be shown as thumbnails.
I've also done some stuff so that images and linked images from other sites that are too wide for the forum will be resized to fit.
Hope this makes some sense to you all! Any problems or feedback let me know.
Cheers
