Well I need a good breakfast to get my blood sugar levels back to normal after all the beer consumed at the meet!

Yeah I'll be going (if easy has forgiven me for my recent post  ) and will probably be at the Imp as usual. It's pretty pricey compared to a Travelodge but I reckon its worth it.

I hope to see all the regulars at the pub and some new faces as well.

Rich.

This is good that it is on a Thursday night as it doesn't clash with anything else I have planned like other forum meets and parties. By the way the Pendrals Oak is a nice pub too. It will be great to meet you all again.

Stockingman, great work on finding the Travelodge at Kings Cross for £19! a room which normally costs at least £80, sadly the rooms at Kings Cross have now sold out but you will be pleased to know travelodge are doing plenty of cheap rooms in other hotels on Thursday the 3rd including Romford, City Airport, Harlow, and Watford among others. . . So have a search at www.travelodge.co.uk

Extra info: Did you know i had a few to many beers at one meet i ended up sleeping on the floor of Stockingman's hotel room and i overslept two hours for work the next morning, god i had a banging head over from that meet, thanks Stockingman for letting me crash that night, i owe you a pint! - Maybe at Kings Cross travelodge lol. . .

Now now then Andy. You're just jealous that I got the room with the minibar and you didn't
Consider it as karma paying me back for all those meals that turn up years after everyone else's if indeed they turn up at all.

Anyway, I'm pleased to tell one and all that I can make it for beers, fun and much discussion about the messiah's return. If you're booking the imperial again Andy let me know and I'll do likewise and meet you there.

P.S. It's "sore point" not "soar point" folks. Whey Man. Theese Manks divvent taaalk England propa like what aah de! Almost as funny as the notice in my local shop asking for help in locating a missing "Jack Rustle" dog.

Making sure the high standard of English used on these boards is maintained.

. . . . it is never nice to lose but to lose so badly, in terms of performance. When playing what is arguably your largest domestic rival it is spectacularly awful. Still, there is Europe and the League so all is not done yet. Your boys simpy wanted it more, specifically Rooney and it has to be bad when Fletcher is credited with scoring two goals against you !!!! I believe the abbreviation is . . . WTF ?

Now I need a lie down, none of that was nice to have to write, all I can say is thank God I'm not a Liverpool fan . . . .

I would just like to say hi to Jammed and Candy and welcome them along to the Meet as Newbies ! All the good things you have heard are true ! Similarly good to see the regulars back for another evening of good company and beverage of choice !

I don't understand how otherwise sensible people get so het up about 22 moronic gorillas kicking a bag of wind about a field. I would much rather hear Wamadeus talking sense about classical music in properly elucidated English. (Yes, - I do understand Geordie!)

Firstly, Richard, I fear you have been watching too much Bedknobs and Broomsticks . . . !!!!!!!!!!!

Secondly, while the intellect of some players may be called into question that is not what they are paid for or indeed picked for, except for that which lifts them above a thuggish mentality, in the main . . .
. . . anyway I digress into an area far larger than need be discussed here !

On a final note, I'd rather kick a bag of wind about than listen to one . . . .
and there are plenty of those to choose from !

It's ok not to be sporty. I mean if you have never played a game of football then it is difficult to maybe grasp the joy of it being played to a high standard.

There are lots of hobbies I find difficult to be moved by. Matchstick Model Making is one that recently comes to mind . . . .

http://www.metro.co.uk/weird/article.ht ... _page_id=2

No matter what I might personally think, I have to be impressed by the dedication, no matter what my standard of handicraft is. He even took the sulphur tips off of all 900,000 matches so the car was a uniform colour.

I understand the motivation, having built a few badly constructed boats and what-not for art projects at school but I would not be remotely interested in doing something like that now.

However, hats off to the man !

In this case of course it might well be helmets off to him or since he is German, maybe that is Helmuts off to him . . .

. . . or any other items of clothing you might like to choose to add/remove ( and wave in the air in a congratualtory fashion ), for that matter !

:D:P:D:P:D:P:D:P:D:P:D:P:D:P:D:P:D:P:D:P:D:P:D :P
