Custard Pie Perfection

Postby grav » 13 Feb 2008, 01:29

Hi all,
You have probably discussed there before but as a relative Spoloshing novice I'd like you advice on your perfect pie
Is a sticky or runny consistency best or do you prefer the foam pie instead
and what flavours are the best to try.
I've done two small scale sploshing sessions so far and despite my physical restrictions they have been great, but I need your expert advice to progress further

Cheers from

The answer depends on what you actually want to achieve.

I like pies made with custard poured into sponge flan bases, then topped with squirty cream. They splat nicely, and the custard then runs down to mess the clothes of the recipient - great if they are sitting down at the time, as it pours into their lap.

If however you prefer the mess to stay where it's landed and not run down, then you probably want something sticker and less runny.

If on the other hand you want a more circus-style slapstick pie, foam is the way to go, and Clown Julie's recipies for good ones are I think in the forum archives.

So what do you want the pies to do, and will the recipient be dressed or nude when they get pied?

I am a big fan of the shaving foam pie. It's great for the more slapstick look :D

For more eatable, and better with nakedness. I would probably have to say custard or whipped cream, possibly a layer of jam at the bottom. I dislike squirty cream in favour of proper whipped cream mixed with some custard power and not whipped too much as it can become too thick. Also Angel Delight type mixtures are good as well.

Cheers.

With the warning that some sludge materials can impart an odour which may take a day or two to dissipate, in spite of several soapy latherings in the shower. A dash of mild almond/lavender essence can be effective if added to a batter, porridge or sauce mix: people think the lingering scent is a new after shave!

I can vouch for the easy-to-prepare READY BREK [at whichever consistency fits your mood or the type of 'flow' required], folded-in with prepared custard and Dream Topping/Angel Delight.

The use of a sponge flan base is much more satisfying than a foil or cardboard base. For one thing the sponge doesn't have any edges, rim or corners. An additional benefit is that the sponge base absorbs excess liquid and becomes a good sploshing medium itself; it even holds raw egg, syrup, sauce and cream.

I've found this very pleasing for use both over and inside clothes. Visually, this is pictorial viagra!
Make every day a messy day.

Thanks Guys for all your advice and suggestions I intend to try out a few of these in the coming weeks.
I am the recipient of the pies of the moment and while I'm enjoying it, having a disability means I cant go too crazy and the logistics of cleaning up would be difficult.
I would dearly love to pie someone else or another person pie me in an enviroment that is OK for all so any further advice or suggestions would be more than welcome.
Love the idea of angel delight or ready brek, thats made the imagination spin.

Cheers from
