A corner cannot be pedantic itself, only a person can be pedantic, - he or she is then called a pedant.

A corner for pedants would therefore be known as a 'pedant corner'

Who the hell invited anyone to come join me in pedant corner ? :lol:

I've got the cold, I'll infect you all... perhaps you can sit on the periphery of pedant corner, where it's safe. I'll have a lady bring you each some tea and cake, and we can moan about the mistakes of the world.

Room for all in pedant corner when i'm well again, although I think there are already permanent seats here for the likes of Bill, Mike and Richard! Engraved and everything!

I think DD requires my new, patented, WAM-sips - simply empty the sachet contents into a bath, add gunge as required, et voila - no memory of being ill...

As much as i love the UMD (and still do). I love the banter and the speed of how this forum is run much better (sometimes takes ages to look at things on the UMD lol).

Also think people relate a lil bit more on here too as it's mainly Brits in here than on the UMD.

I much prefer this board to the UMD, I never really like the UMD even when it was the only forum, I think it has suffered from too much blatent advertising.

Also American WAM seems too wooden. I have seen some of piefightgirls and lenny's videos and I just did not find them fun or erotic to watch, the just seems something missing from them.

Now gilly's videos, priceless, they have humour (That is what may be missing from the Yanks videos) good hits, and I find erotic. plus the women in them are enjoying themselves (I get the feel that the Americans are not quite letting them selves go, plus too many screams when they get a pie in the face.)

The americans obsession with that overly thick susbstance called cool-whip, I dont think it makes good pies really, shaving foam or custard & whipped cream are best (Hurrah, British!)

That's my tuppence worth on the subject.

First of all, can I say it was never our intention to be another UMD or compete with it. When we decided to have a forum we deliberately wanted to create something that was different from them not the same. We fully accept that they are the global portal for the subject and happy that they are. Being such means that they will get a lot more people promoting their material and it therefore acts as a good shop window.

Our theory was....So if UMD is the shop window, we should be the pub or cafe up the road! You can come here and chat in a silly or serious way and share snaps of what you have got up to. Yes, we have one or two commercial firms who 'advertise' here BUT only cos the owners/models also join in all the chats (in a non-commercial way) and are therefore active members as well as just companies promoting stuff. If you don't join in (or if you just put up a link and no free pics) you don't get your promo here!

Bill and I have only one small gripe about UMD and that is that the threads on the forum can be rather earnest , pompous and get heated. Because their audience is so vast they have more people with specialist tastes who seem unable to accept anyone else's ideas. We, on the other hand, like to be as inclusive as possible.

Thank you for saying we are small and friendly. That was always very much our aim.
