Newbie questions

Jon, looks like you two had a really good time, and the pics are great. You're a lucky guy- Eden's gorgeous, and her choice of outfit was spot on....

It's something I've wanted to try for a while but never been brave enough to suggest to a GF. Maybe next time (I'm currently single) I'll go for it and ask the question!

I'm curious about something- as I've just posted, it's something I've wanted to try for a while but so far haven't been brave enough to suggest.

When Jon first suggested it to you, was it an idea that came as a total surprise to you, did you need any persuasion, or did the idea already appeal to you?

Hope I'm not being too intrusive or nosey- just not sure how I'd ever go about asking a GF to give it a try

I can't really remember when he first suggested it but I know for a while I wasn't too keen, a bit wary. But he showed me some films and made me read some of the stuff on this forum and I came round to the idea and luckily for us I really enjoyed it.

I would just say take it nice and easy and dont suggest you want to gravy her or anything Its quite a light hearted thing so I think most girls would eventually give it a go

I'm not sure about most, definitely an adventurous girl will probably give it a go if you ask, but I'm sure there are also plenty of girls who don't even like getting undressed with the lights on...

The thing I'd add really is that it really depends on the girl, me and Eden have been together for a pretty long time and know each other really well, and I knew she'd give it a go somewhen - but it still took quite a long time to take the plunge, so to speak, after mentioning it for the first time.

So I'd say, next time you're in a relationship, if she's a bit wild then just go for it, what's the worst that can happen? But if she's a bit more conservative then perhaps hold off, especially if you're getting along really well and introduce your preference a little more subtly.

I definitely wouldn't suggest gravy anyway....not my scene at all I've always known that taking things slowly and introducing the subject gently would be the way to go, but I've always found it difficult to imagine anyone I've dated so far being up for trying it

Thanks Jon, That makes a lot of sense- most of my exes, particularly the one I was with for long enough to know her very well, have tended a little towards the conservative end of the scale, which is one reason I've never raised the subject with any of them. Maybe I've just been dating the wrong women...

I think with a lot of non-vanilla activities (loath as I am to call sploshing non-vanilla when I'm sure on many occasions vanilla comes into it somewhere ) people are introduced by a special someone... is there anyone here who can only see themselves sploshing (or any other fetish) with thier significant other?

From my point of view been with my partner for about 3 years and sploshing isn't really her thing, We've messed around a bit and she's done clothed baths etc and a few water fights round the garden with sooper soakers (now that was fun and silly as it was one of those rare occasions in the last 2 years if realy hot weather after work and the neighbours just didn't get it with 2 - 30 somethings soaked to the skin in jeans & tshirts).

There's also been a bit of choc sauce use but she prefers to eat the choccie than wear it .....

But great to see you on board the forum Eden and Jon .... depending where you are in Hampshire and if the weather is good this summer I recall seeing a few muddy beaches along the cost on my last visit to Southampton area! Bikini and shorts and plenty of water to clean up in after ..
