Indeed, Bill tells me the man who created Pugwash (who lives up the road in Rye) is a very devout Catholic who has successfully sued people for reciting these myths about Roger the Cabin Boy and Seaman Stains, so I'll shut up.

Were the people who did Captain Pugwash the same folks who did Noggin The Nog? Now there was a great series. No inuendo if memory serves correctly but then again the title was enough!!

Yes, Oliver Postgate's Smallfilms. Though Peter Hawkins did the voices in Pugwash as opposed to Oliver himself doing them in Noggin, Ivor the Engine, The Clangers etc.
