Did u do anything to that treacle? because the version i know is by far not so thick. more honey kind of substance.

Thats the same treacle I use and the thickness depends on temperature. If it is warm it is quite runny but cold it is very thick. Personally I love the latter and those covered head shots make me quite jealous. You've got to try it if you haven't already.
