Really glad I started this!
I sympathise with the 'pain in the neck' problems. As a fan of having big heavy pies slammed in my face I have suffered from minor whiplash before now (those deep jam ones really weigh!). Another thing specifically for if you're shooting a video, is a pie-sandwich where the pies don't cover the fron of the person's face, the mouth or the eyes. That way you can see the person's expression all throughout. Those are good sometimes.

As mentioned on another thread, the pie (or big cake) on the table routine is fabbo too! Simply grab your victim aby the back of the head and slam their face into the pie and rub it round. Not too hard or you'll break their nose!. Then lift them out by the hair!

A small bu rather obvious tip if you do.
Use a soft paper plate to mount the pie on. Don't use alluminium as it can hurt and polystyrene doesn't bend as well when you squeeze it between your partner's legs!
