Hi all,
First, I love this site.
Second, I do a fetish article monthly for an online magazine. Myself and my partner are starting to do live sploshing shows etc.
Because of this, one of the article questions is about safe food play.
Can anyone give me any tips on this?

Which magazine may I enquire?

I could not really help in the area of safe food play (i'm a foam pie fan) i'd say most things are ok, apart from the obvious like garlic and chilli. Not so sure about putting food into orifices tho.

I will say always keep you eyes closed druing pie hits and
where something is poured over your head. But I guess that
just goes with out saying.

I do sugguest aviod food that can stain or sting the skin and
only if you not into savory food, avoid food that sinks.

as far as we have found, theres nothing that has had any detrimental lasting effect.
and believe me theres nothing we havent tried somewhere, including what some class as gross wam.
if it makes you happy.... go for it.

We have found that crunchy peanut butter can cause injury so be careful with that one, and totally agree about chillies.

I do believe that women have to be a bit more careful than men regarding where substances are put.

But I guess the best way to find out is to experiement and we have done a lot of that with some really weird and wonderful things. :shock:

Here is a list of 'safe' substance you can try out first:

Outmeal
Cake Batter
Eggs
Shaving Cream
Custard
Pudding
Yogart
Whip Cream
Peanut Butter
Pies

Safe but can sting eyes a little (nothing unbearable though):
Chocolate
Syrup
Treacle / Molasses
Basically very sweet things

I have heard mixed things on sex while messy. I assume (being a guy) that having a dick covered with sugary products inserted may cause problems. But I have heard from some woman members they have done this many times without problem.... I think the key though was having a good orgasm or a cleansing douche afterwards.
