I am usually one of those 'guests' not because I am afraid to admit I am a wammer..... but because I am lazy and don't feel like logging in every time I want to read the forums or see the pretty pictures

If you tick the box, you get logged in automatically each time. No extra hassle and your PMs.
There are almost always far more guests than registered members and it would be nice to know more of them.

Hey Bill,
I could check that little box, but it won't matter. I have my system set-up to remove all cookies / saved passwords. So each time I close my browser that info is lost

first time I hit this forum, my first thought was it would be a good idea to register NOW instead of just waiting until I had something to say. That way, I could just say it without going through a SHORT hassle later. Saved me some time and effort which was worth it.
And that is all I am willing to type right now
Personally, the main reason I signed up was the chance to meet other sploshers particularly ones close to home. The chance alone is worth the few minutes it took to fill out the form...
