mucky times
Thanks for posting Bill & Hayley, wasn't sure if it was the beer talking or if you where half serious. I know DD would be up for it, I would deffo arrange something for 3 reason, 1 too meet up with people again, some who I have not seen for nearly ten years (what have i been doing).
2 to meet some more like minded people.
3 to get everybody seriously wammed and to see gungeslut dress up like supernanny and get messy, now that would need a super messy session from me.

muddy outdoors
I have somewhere not too far from me, that gets quite muddy, there a pond, a stream and some quite deep mud, in which during several session people have some very messy pressups.... The only problem sometimes we get people walking the dog etc.
Is good fun though, sometimes enjoy the risque bit as well.

Great idea - but why the arguments?
Hi Lady Clare,
I think the idea of having a messy event is excellent. You seem to have pitched it at the right price - let's be honest, £40 for a day's entertainment is very good value considering you'd spend at least double that on a decent night out!
Whilst I think GS's points are valid - some people may not want their photos taken - I would imagine that most people would be comfortable with a "no cameras" rule. Similarly, if people wanted to participate, let them. Those who want to sit back and enjoy the fun from the safety of the auditorium, then why not? Frankly, I can't see what the fuss is about.
In my Royal opinion; the more events we have the better and more power to your elbow for siezing the initiative to organise one. If the world is split into "do-ers" and "talkers", you are certainly a do-er. Until those people who have been critical of your idea get off their gunge-drenched arses and organise an event of their own, perhaps they would be kind enough to keep their bitching about your idea to themselves.
Just a thought.
In the meantime, well done Lady Clare for your efforts. I for one would be eager to hear more about your event, and will make every effort to support it, as I would any other live WAM sessions.
Cheers
