Wow the list is fab and still growing all the time, good to see so much interest.

This will definitely be the biggest meet to date - im just glad we have a very large pub!

Thursday is also Curry night - Beer and a curry for a fiver.

A thought has occurred to me (it doesn't happen very often

), I could only recognise on sight 6 - 8 of the people on the list and I'm sure that others are in the same position. Why don't we all wear name badges? We would only need to put them on for a while, after we get started and get to know each other we can lose them.

Ok, I realise this is what a few gatherings do . . . and well, I guess I am not a big fan . . .
however, to mitigate this there are two or three ways to spot us and find us.

I aim to be there from 5pm, as does James.

As you walk into the pub there is a raised area to the left.
We will be on that platform at the far wall as much as we can.

I will be wearing the Jimi Hendrix shirt.

It is large and orange ( mostly ) as you can see in my avatar and also is pictured large in the UMD thread.
I am not sure if you saw it last time round. I will try to sit as prominently as I can so people can see it as they walk in and give a cursory glance about.

There will also be an A-Z on the table and James mentioned something about an England flag as well.

Hopefully that will be ok.

I know what you mean, we will see how many turn up, but hopefully everyone will chat away to each other anyway and that way we will find who is who.

This is potentially a big meet and we will need to learn as it goes along,
maybe I'll pack a roll of labels so if it gets really busy we can do the name-badge thing then !

I should rephrase that, there is a 60% chance of me being there...not 60% of me will be there.

Which 60% of myself would I send away... is 40% of me my clothing and would I therefore show up naked... Or would i just send my clothes to the pub along with my elbows?

The mind boggles.
