Here’s a bit of an off the wall thought I mentioned in the brilliant WRAF Officer photo thread - why isn’t there a jargon for Sploshing?
Has anyone got any good ideas for WAM jargon, (ruder / funnier the better), to describe for example:
A mild messing up - no face exposure
Then a very messy person but no face or hair; just like Knave, Fiesta and other 70’s and 80’s mags used to do
A very messy person- face and hair – Messy Girl style
Messy Hair where you can still see a lot of clean hair but it’s still very messy!
Receiving pies to various parts of the body - each part could have a different name (ruder the better!)
A “Cede” handstand in the mud! – What a star!
(on that thought the Eskimo’s don’t actually have hundreds of words for snow but maybe we could have a few for different types of mud )
Getting messy with easy clean up
Getting messy the way Hayley seems to like it!
The ability of a photographer to film the most erotic scene they have ever witnessed and still keep the camera / video in focus and steady
Can’t think of anything particularly witty at the moment, but I’m sure there are a lot of smarter people who can…
Nick
PS - here’s a few sites that have a definition of Sploshing:

WAM Jargon - words to describe your passion

Here's some jargon for you - some is already used quite often, and some is only used inside my own brain...
In my head, I always think of pies to the ass as a 'pie spanking'. A girl who gets well and truely pie spanked receives 'six of the best'.
Pies on either side of the head is usually called a 'pie sandwich'
Food or other mess poured into the lady's underwear is, of course, 'knicker filling'
Crappy 'wam' where you have a bimbo with enormous silicone tits and a stingy blob of cream on each nipple ... I always think of that as 'porn wam' (where mainstream porn producers try to get on the wam bandwagon but haven't really got the right idea of what messy means).
'coverage' is often used by wam-geeks on 'the other channel' ... "Wow! great pics! Nice coverage!" , "Great pics. 80% coverage"
I've seen 'wam virgin' used to describe some lucky girl receiving her first wamming ... and how about 'baptism by PIEr' for a wam virgin who gets introduced to wam in style.
'wam' and 'splosh' are jargon themselves. Both get used as nouns and verbs, although people who favour the term 'splosh' tend to complain that 'wam' shouldn't be used as a verb because it stands for 'wet and messy'

I just looked at that urbandictionary link (what a great site - I've learnt so much there
) and the third entry says that Splosh is a slang British term for tea (esp in London).
Is it? I've never heard that, other than in connection with Miss Helen

I did make a (admittedly tongue in cheek) play to coin "Wamdrogony" to define the act of changing one's perceived gender in order to take part in WAM play. I've known quite a few guys who wouldn't wear a dress even to avoid torture under normal circumstances, but who'll do it in order to get covered in slosh.
Anyway, here's a little glossary wot I jus mad up.
Sploshing slang;
Slimebawl - the high pitched squeal emitted when the first bucket of cold gunge hits.
Apple Turnover - a badly thrown pie which flips over in flight so that it lands harmlessly plate side down on the chest/lap of the recipient.
Sputnik - a pie, blob of gunge or other WAM related stain that somehow lodges itself on the ceiling during a session, adding an interesting challenge come cleanup time.
Deviant characters encountered within the WAM scene;
Messogynist - one who thinks only girls should splosh and that they should do so only for his entertainment, with anyone who he doesn't fancy kept well out of sight, preferably out of existence altogether. Will offer fuck all in return and will throw the rattle out of the pram if this order is upset, so can be fun to bait.
Wampire - one who indulges their fetish by involving unsuspecting members of the public, either under false pretenses or by skulking about in the bushes taking candid photos to wank over privately.
Luppett (from the acronym LPTT, which stands for Less Perverted Than Thou) - one who is adamant that they are not a fetishist, that what they're into is classy, highbrow art. A Luppett will regard everyone else they encounter within the WAM scene as a disgusting fetishistic pervert way beneath their level and will say so at every opportunity. Luppetts are invariably also Wampires.

Wampire! Great term!!
That guy who did 'The Oxnard Files' was an obvious Wampire ... "I'm doing it for the comedy value - it's funny to have sexy girls get messy and them mess me up too" ... yeah right!! And then spanking off over the footage when everyone else has gone home.
Lots of Wampires in the media too - yes, we're looking at you, Noel Edmunds!!
How about a 'Steve McQueen' ... tries to get out of the way and stay clean when the mess really starts flying .... but the other participants are having none of it, and the escapee is dragged back to centre stage for a full on gunging.

Splosh does also mean tea in cock-er-ney. I remember giggling during EastEnders when Pete Beale used to say he was off to the cafe for a splosh.

I personally suck at throwing pies, many of my throws resulting in apple turnovers. So we've got plenty of examples on film.
Re. the Wampire thing (and the Oxnard Files guy Phantom mentioned), I suppose in a way most of us have been guilty of occasional wampirism - you could argue that even watching old tiswas tapes for the gunge would constitute being a wampire. I guess it's how much bullshit you bring in to take people for a ride that makes the difference.
The Oxnard Files guy; dunno. I did find it a bit rich when they had the episode when they suddenly 'discovered' WAM fetishism online and acted all incredulous about it when they'd been promoting their show on UMD from day one, but even for myself, WAM in different situations has different attractions and connotations. In one context it will be sexy (for example when sploshing with my girlfriend), in another vaguely kinky adult fun and in yet another just something plain daft. The fact it works on so many levels is part of the fun. So who am I to judge Mr. Oxnard's motives?
On the other hand, there was once a luppett in the scene who had a 'lifesaving' site full of pictures of women in the pool in their clothes learning how to use them for bouyancy. Even though this was alledgedly a lifesaving/survival site and not a wetlook fetish site (certainly there was no suggestion that the women involved had agreed to anything of that sort) only women were featured (I guess guys are expected to tread water or drown) and it did seem to focus only on those aspects of survival technique that involve women jumping into pools in dresses.
Even other luppetts were calling Wampire on this guy.
