Splosh sessions are cool, but I know where Bill and Hayley are coming from. I use to try and hold big events, the problem is people turning up.
So I've toned things down a bit, I really enjoy the sessions that I host and they are a right giggle. I always e-mail people and then get in touch via the phone or meet up somewhere.

Would love to meet Bill again, but I do understand the effort that goes into organising one these events.

When we do eventually organise an event, we would love to have you along, GS. One or both of us might even consider a trip to East Anglia for a meet though we do have a bit of an 'issue' with that in our relationship (I spend all year in St Leonards and am desperate to get away whilst Hayley spends all her life in a car and is equally desperate to stay at home!).

I'm sorry if we misunderstood, last night. It was the JD and Cokes (in Hay;ey's case) and the beer (in mine).

Hope I haven't upset the G.S! I did use the term "event idea" as I wasn't sure if she was planning to put one on or not, its just that she seemed to have a lot of ideas about what she wanted to do and seemed very keen on making it happen. I'm going to confine myself to talking about the event I'm planning on this thread from now on! I've got a provisional date in August and a location ready! To avoid confusion it might be an idea to do a new thread for the sort of event G.S is TALKING about as we're all going off at different angles here at the moment!!!!!

Nah, I doubt she's upset at all. Just trying to clear up the misunderstanding. She's all gung-ho for Bill to organise something, as am I! I'd go to both, but what with her career and restrictions (that a lot of people have) she has to be careful about facial photos of her knockin about.

I can understand it, not all of us can have our face plastered everywhere. I'm fine like, stick me on a billboard if you so desire!

In it for the pies in my knickers and the glory baby! ye-ha etc

Nah it's just sheer enthusiasm. I'm sure Bill and Hayley don't feel like they have to have one next weekend or anything.

If I had my way, when there are riots in Belfast i'd get them to exchange plastic bullets for pies..and go dancing in the streets shouting "i hate the army i hate the army"

of course... Belfast isn't that bad anymore at all, despite what they say

anyway! offffff the subject completely.

i think i will have a bouncy castle for my birthday next year, and fill it with gunge, and give you all a go. thats my idea of a messy event.

then we can all pie fight.

You might have to turn the pressure down on it a little though, otherwise there'd be a small amount of damage to bodies... but yes, agreed in principle
