...going to be a facility that lets us download Splosh movies, PPV style?

I'd be more than willing to download lots if it were, it seems to be the best way of getting stuff 'out there' at the moment.

:D

Sorry, it's me. Her Hayleyship is probably sat by the pool in her Spanish mini-villa whilst I clear up after yet another storm....

Yes, we bloody well hope so, is the answer. We have tons of new stuff to show you and lots of ideas, it is just getting CC companies and the software sorted and compatible that is causing the problem. PPV is definitely the way we would do it, not a subscription. Perhaps by the Autumn...

Bill

It would be so excellent. I envision the entire Splosh catalogue, and - even better - the WSM back catalogue (one of my all time fave producers) made available as separate downloadable scenes for a small cost.

Punters could then choose the scenes that most appeal to them (be it wetlook, muddy, food play, crazy, funny, sensual).

I bought a lot of videos back in the day, but was always wishing there was one video made entirely of my own tastes (there always seemed to be about 2 thirds of the content that didn't appeal to me, such as wetlook). Obviously, the format of choice back then was video, and it was in the producers' interests to provide as wide a range of scenes on each title as possible - to give something for everyone.

But PPV would allow everyone to mix and match EXACTLY whatever they want at a fraction of the cost.

I'm certain you'll see a massive surge in business once this is up and running.

The idea, initially at least, is to put new material on the PPV section but with exactly the level of choice you describe.

Most sites (and this is NOT a criticism) find one area of the subject they like and stick with that (like Gilly's Silly House does). Personally I like all kinds of things and want to provide a large selection of stuff (even things I don't like!) which people can pick or not as they please. Something that expresses the full range of sploshing activities rather than one specific niche.

As for putting the back catalogue on, well, maybe. We still sell a reasonable number of DVDs though so I don't want to spoil that. In fact, the downloads may well be made into DVDs as well for those who prefer that format. But I can think of various scenes from the old stuff that would work well as downloads.

Anyway, got to wrestle with the technology first!

I look forward to the PPV, it sounds great already. I agree that putting new stuff on first is a good idea, as like you like say, you can get the back catalogue on DVD or Vid.

However in saying that the back catalogue of Splosh stuff as PPV would be good as well. Maybe you could cut them into various scenes, (a bit like Messy Fun does on their download site, ie wetlook, mud, food, etc.).

That way, if anyone wants the whole thing they can still buy the DVD/vid.

I'm sure that you've already thought of this, and I don't want to tell you your job :?

Hope you can sort the techie side out soon, and I look forward to Splosh Digital :)
