Just wondering - does anyone know what year Sally James first appeared on Tiswas and how old she was?

And how old was Holly Willoughby when she was first on MOM?

Has anyone ever seen any kind of TV show / interview where Sally and Holly met up? It's a shame Holly wasn't at the recent 'Reunited' show.

No idea what ages each were but Sally James appeared with Holly on MOM along with other Tiswas people it was shit though coz they all wore waterproofs in the cage apart from one bloke and he was a knob anyway!

Yes! Sally was a guest on the ITV50 edition of Ministry Of Mayhem, where they had lots of former Saturday morning presenters from ITV's past (Neil Buchanan, Gaz Top, etc). Chris Tarrant did a live video interview.

The ironic thing is, when I first chatted to Sally in 2005 (as part of her BBC WM rado show), she had never heard of "whatever ITV is putting out these days". I explained a little bit about the Ministry Of Mayhem. Although she knew of Dick And Dom In Da Bungalow, but didn't agree with me about them being the "new Tiswas".

It's a shame Holly wasn't at the recent 'Reunited' show.

The first celeb I bumped into at the Reunited show was Stephen Mulhern, a surprisingly nice fellow, and I asked him if Holly was going to be there. He said he wasn't sure, but expected her to be there. Alas, it wasn't to be.

Still, I wasn't a MOM fan anyway, I'm definitely aligned with Dominic Wood and Richard McCourt. And thus, I spent more time with them again!

Holly took numerous gungings like a trooper, but the gunge disappointed me more often than not ... thin slime that was so watery, it practically WAS water. I'd love to see her get messy Dick and Dom style .... like they got Fern Cotton or Lisa from Steps.

A visit to the IMDB and some maths tells me Sally was 27 when she first appeared on Tiswas.

The same site tells me Holly was 23 when she started on MOM (and she's currently 26).

I've heard rumors that Ms James really didn't enjoy getting sploshed, and wrote it out of her contract, during her last season on the show. Any truth to this?

She didn't seem to mind doing wetlook - like in the Bucket of Water song ... but she looks quite pissed off in that scene where Chris fulfills loads of viewers' requests by covering her in beans, semolina etc.

Holly, on the other hand, came up smiling after every messy scene and at one stage she seemed to be getting messy at least once per show.

Not really, she got pies certainly, but they were the joke shop custard pie foam stuff (ie: hardly sticks to your face), whereas everyone else got the traditional coloured shaving foam.

And she got buckets of gunge/water thrown over her in a Mastermind spoof sketch in the final series.

I have about 1/2 of the Mastermind parody on tape--awesome! I especially like the fact that she was barefooted in it. And yes, she does look like she's enjoying herself.
