Drove a mate's band over for a gig the other week - that was the reason the London Splunch got moved back to 30th March. Had completely forgotten there were Splosh people over there but as the schedule was rather hectic there probably wouldn't have been time to do anything else anyway. Did get to ride the trains, and spend some time in the Stiff Kitten (who served me a burger the size of Barnsley!), and then enjoyed a Titanic-re-enactment on the way home when the ferry broke down in a gale!

Cool place and great people, will have to go back some time.

Planning to head back over at some point - want to ride the DEMUs on the Larne line, saw a few going past, they sounded awesome. Will let you know when. TBH I'm more into rock than cyber so might do Cornucopia instead, but it'll all depend on available dates.

ahhhh the ancient larne line trains. I live across the street from the train station near the docks, i hear them regularly

ohh...there goes one now.

cornucopia is cool, but it isnt rock or anything either... the venue is a rock bar, but full of kids these days.

either way it'd be cool to say hello/have a pint etc!

Will let you know when I head back over. Btw, by rock I meant Goth rock, though I'm partial to proper traditional heavy metal too - just none of that noisy nu-metal rubbish. :twisted:
