We'll try and provide some munchies of the cake variety, will take a quick run to the nearest branch of Associated Sploshing and the Dripping Arts on the way down from the Chase.

Things not looking good at this end. I massively underestimated the length of time needed to edit this week's Gilly film. Think I have somewhat over-reached myself by trying to do a piss-take ballet called The Pieing Swan (from Porn Lake) cut to four different bits of music. Still not finished. This means that I am unlikely to make it to Leeds. My mate in Sheffield is extremely pissed off as am I at the moment. Will let you know if things improve....

A bit of a heads up for Saturday as most her won't be football fans ...

The game on Saturday is Leeds v Sheffield Wednesday ...

Lets just say that these two sets of fans have an age old rivalery ... if people are out in the city from about 5 to 7 (or onwards) it might be a wise idea to tone down any outfits whilst out and about in the big wide world ...

One of my work colleagues who went to a previous match between these two got glassed so it can get nasty ..

Still hoping to make it up but might have to hurtle back down South arrghhh

I take it that's being played in Leeds, at Elland Road? The city centre is usually OK, you don't (IME) tend to see the same precautions they sometimes take in Sheffield when there's a match on. Fortunately the ground is a fair distance from the city centre and in the opposite direction from the station.

But as Miss Helen has said, there are changing facilities in the venue if required.

I am very, very sorry but I am not going to make it. Still up to my neck in pie ballet and new downloads for Gilly's site. (WAMPrincess Clare fans note - you can now download her two Policewoman sketches with Gilly for a fiver each NO MEMBERSHIP REQ). However since I was planning to commute back and forth between Sheffield and Leeds on Saturday by train dressed like a cheesy game show host I probably would have been the victim of football fans anyway.

I hope though you'll take lots of photos and post them here. I really wanted to meet Our Friends in the North but at least you were spared my frilly satin shirt. I hope it will be the first of many, and look forward to being there for the next one.

Have fun. I hate missing a good party.

Never mind, Bill, maybe see you next time!

Re. photos, I wasn't going to take any as a camera ban tends to be the norm at these sort of events to protect the privacy of those attending, but if no-one objects maybe we could take a single authorised picture, with everyone concerned given the option of either being in the photo or not.

Obviously I wasn't suggesting random "pap" photos just the odd posed one of people happy to be seen. But please no "smiley" heads.
