If there's ever a girl that could get away with pushing horseshit in my face, it's Roxanne Pallett.

Is it just us or are there a lot more young and nubile ladies leaping around in todays soaps.

Where are the Amy Turtles and Martha Longhursts these days. Elsie Tanner was very much the glamorous one in days gone by but she was a bit of a different kettle of fish to what you get today. (albeit a very fiery kettle of fish)
Kind regards, Spinynorman and Frilly

Still messing about after all these years!

Yes, stateside, about the last 10 years or so there's been an effort to put youngins' on there. Partly cuz the older ones (viewers and cast) were dying off/running out of storylines, and partly to recruit new young viewers. Especially as nowadays with college, serious employment, and daytime TV syndicated shows they coudl no longer rely on women sitting at home watching soaps all day.

It's been hit or miss. We had one major soap go off (One Life to Live I think), a disastarous new soap come and go (Passions) but overall it has been good in the tarty sort of way. It's introduced the American public to the likes of Aubrey Dollar (RAWR), Kirsten Storms (yummy), Adrienne Frantz, Jennifer Finnigan (my fav :P ), and a slew of others, many who have since moved on to more serious primtime or movie acting roles.
