Shame - they should have let him do it with his overalls on. :D
he he he he!!!! top answer answer Dm am sat here giggling my head off.

I'd actually reccomend boilersuit wamming to anyone, wearing a one-piece outfit (esp with the legs tucked into rubber boots) and then pouring gunge in via the neck is a unique experience. They're fun to go mud-sliding in too, no "coming untucked" at the waist, and lots of material to cover in goo. And a nice range of colours too. 8)

What are your thoughts DM on using a nuclear, chemical and biological warfare suit. 8)

Now there's a thought!

I'm quite taken with the "Demron" suits on this page: http://www.saferamerica.com/protectivenbcsuits.asp though I thing the price makes them slightly impractical for wamming, even given Lady Jasmine's rather impressive wealth! 8)

The Tyvek-F ones might possibly be play-able though - $45 is only 25 quid, and they come in children's sizes, which might actually fit the ladies.

I've occasionally toyed with buying one of these for myself: http://www.psf.co.uk/ProductPages/Clothing-ChemicalProtection-NorthylonBoilerSuit.html, or perhaps this: http://www.psf.co.uk/ProductPages/Clothing-FoulWeatherwear-FlexothaneFoulWeatherCoverall.html. TBH the Flexothane suit looks better in the flesh than in that pic, PSF are based in Sheffield, which is within range of the Hall, and we occasionally pop down there for gungewear - they sell some very nice boilersuits.

For those who don't want to follow links, here are the suits mentioned:

Don't work for me, not nearly shiny enough!

A well-fitted and belted boiler suit or jumpsuit can be fun to wear though so long as it is thoroughly soaked. Soaked in oil would be very nice...

My experiences of wearing this type of suit (nothing wam related unfortunately  ) is, they are very warm.
You can suffer from dehydration very quickly under certain circumstances.
I've suffered mild dehydration after a few hours.

To hark back to the guy I knew in the navy.
He told me that they were supposed to wear this type of suit if there was a threat of a nuclear, biological or chemical attack.
He said it was so hot in the engine room that you could only stick it for about 20 - 30 minutes during a drill or exercise.
He also told me if there was an attack he wouldn't bother wearing a suit because he would die one way or another.

Indeed - I'm inclined to agree, even though I quite fancy self-wamming in a waterproof suit. Though the Flexothane does look much better in the real than in that pic, and from what I remember, it feels incredible - most of the best qualities of rubber and pvc combined. About 60 quid a go though.

M'Lady Hayley, I think you've just specified both the outfit and the substance for a future shoot. I agree with you about boilersuits looking better when belted, and oil would soak through and over the belted waist in ways that say custard wouldn't.

And it's a while since we did an oil shoot, Lady-J did one back in 2005, we've not played with the amber nectar since.

One oily belted boilersuit shoot is on it's way! :D

What colour though: Black, for ultimate shinyness, or a brght colour to more clearly show the oil spreading and seeping through the fabric?

Lead
Chocolate has one of the higher concentrations of lead among products that constitute a typical Westerner's diet. Recent studies have shown that, although lead tends to bind to cocoa shells, the beans themselves absorb little lead in their country of origin. Contamination of certain samples appears to happen later in the manufacturing process.[20] According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, levels of lead in chocolate are sufficiently low that even people who eat large amounts of chocolate every day are not at risk of any adverse effects.[citation needed]

Well since you ask....

Should be black, navy or bottle green, tightly waisted and belted ideally with silver buttons or zips to contrast with the sodden fabric!

Oil, 100s of eggs or clear natrasol would be cool, and my model of choice would be Maiden!

Hmmm...getting jealous thinking about it!

Now there's a thing! I was chatting to Maiden as she was running errands down in the village earlier today, we have a multiple-person shoot coming up next weekend. She's vegan so eggs are out, but I asked and she's willing to think about sunflower oil.

I also have a nice navy blue boilersuit which Maiden's worn before (but not in a WAM shoot), with brass zips, which would belt in quite nicely with an elastic nurse's belt. And I'm pretty sure there's a navy one of those kicking about someplace in the Hall too.

This may not actually be this weekend's shoot, as we've a plot-line already worked out for that one as long as everyone can get through to the house, but I think perhaps Maiden's next scene after this is now booked!

Shoot done! Yesterday Maiden received a thorough oiling in the above outfit, plus a black baseball cap, at the hands of Nurse Wendy-Household (in pale blue uniform, but stayed clean).

That, plus Maiden's "high-vis orange and black treacle" shoot from two weeks ago will form the next update on the site, I'll post some samples here when they go live.

Maiden really enjoyed the feel of the oil, so we may well do more oil shoots in future.
