Have any of you seen the recently-released horror film DESCENT? It apparently has some scenes in it of girls being covered with what looks like blood!
It's already out on DVD, and I was wondering if you all think it's worth picking it up.

I haven't seen it but have read quite a lot about this film. I think it depends whether or not you like horror pics. I certainly wouldn't watch it for WAM content alone! I personally do not like horror, prefering comedy.

As a keen caver during my 20s I deplore the commonly held supposition that spelaeology is dangerous because of roof-falls; this happens so rarely as to be statistically non-existant. The main danger is rising water levels following a sudden storm (usually it is possible to find a safe place to wait), or injuries to one of the party through a fall.

Sorry to go on like this but it's a subject about which I feel strongly.

I'm intrigued - I love WAM, and have participated in several sessions during 2006 - but I don't think I'm obsessed by it (although that may be for others to judge, I guess!). The idea of spending 90 minutes watching a movie you've never really heard of because you just might find a 10 second WAM scene (with blood in this case???) seems a little bizarre to me, and certainly not something I'd contemplate. There is actually more to life than WAM!
It wasn't that long ago that I'd punch someone in the face when they pissed me off; now I just delete them from Facebook - that'll show the mother-fuckers...
