There are lots of ways to keep warm over the festive season. One would be to get a little closer to the small candle that appears to light and heat your small abode. :)

Hey DD,

You look so cute and innocent in that pic as well. See magic does happen at Christmas, no doubt you will have found a way to keep warm, snuggling up in bed sounds like a good idea!

How can anyone resist such a beautiful soulful face in such an atmospheric picture? Ahhh, Just asking for more; It's melting my heart  .

Fortunately I happen to have a cream laden pie ready to push into it

The best way to keep warm when it is really cold is to wear a thick woolly jumper, thermal under wear or joggy bottoms. Thick thermal socks or three pairs of normal socks. In the house don't get carried away with putting too much heating on, sit with a warm duvet around you and you will soon warm up. Get a 15 tog duvet to sleep under, they are great. For heating just a one bar electric fire will gradually warm up the place if left on all day.

Awww thanks for the advice stonecastle:)

unfortunately i don't have an electric fire, can't afford one, it's a glass fronted coal fire i have here. But i have got a hot water bottle and blankets to cuddle with in front of the telly!

Thanks for all the compliments too everyone else... :) I'd love a creamy pie pushed into my soulful face hehe. I just took the shot on my lil webcam, feelin festive :)

Merry Christmas to you too, DD. You do look awfully cute in that hat. I hope you get the custard pie you're hoping for. If I was there I'd give it to you myself. And the custard pie.
See what I did there?
Look, if you're all going to throw pies around would you mind throwing them at me!!!

Failing that you could insulate yourself using whipped cream and custard... hope that helps.
