Weird thing is ... I'm certain I know his name. If I heard it, I'd recognise it. He's one of that same group that kick-started UK WAM in the beginning.

Yeah I'm sure I would recognise his name as well. I think that he was involved in making all the WSM videos along with a guy called Mike. I met them both at Aquantics '91 and I remember Mike telling me that their wives were totally unaware that they were producing the WSM videos. Which must of been difficult to keep secret because they must of produced around eight videos in about the same number of years.

Mike (Ellison) was NOT Professor Treacle. Mike did appear briefly in WSM9 as the van driver who picked up the couple from the farm and took them to the muddy river, and I think he was the painter in 'fix it' who painted carol.

I, that is vid i've only half seen, he mostly appears in Wsm 1 in varoious forms!!!!

Seems to have got a bit giddy though, getting the hump with splosh after appearing in a few vids??

Sorry no the painter who painted Carol is not Mike Ellison or Prof Treacle (who is not Mike either). the painter is a guy who's a mate of ours and a really nie bloke. Not saying that mike isn't, of course.

Mike still supplies us with videos/DVDs from his base in Liverpool. I think he still takes photos but mainly for fun now.

Can you clear up my confusion? Which vids did Mike Ellison make? Is he the man behind WSM? If not ... who is it? Bill? David Glew?

I mean exactly what I said. He supplies us with copies of his WSM tapes and DVDs which we sell. He hasn't made one since WSM9 (Sex WSM).

He is the producer director of the WSM series. Some of these were written by Bill but Mike produced them. Bill, of course, also did the Buff Films, Funny Farm, Splosh! TV series etc which he produced, directed, wrote etc. David Glew shot the Funny Farm films but Bill produced and directed. David Wilkey shots the Artscene/Aquantics films which were co-produced by Roger Carpenter. By produced I mean "paid for".
