Hey Friends. So what about it when your gettin down & dirty what do you like pumping in the background ? Pi`s a HUGE Fun Lovin Criminals fan so thats what she likes, that or the Transplants, maybe some electro 80`s pop depends how she feels. I like some hard hittin savage brutality Biohazard,Machine Head,Fear Factory,Pantera,Soulfly etc. But mostly when your slinging custard pies & buckets of slosh there`s only one band i like to listen to. Insane Clown Posse http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hg186kLAG0g

Great thread, Madrox!

I think OK Go's 'Get Over It' would be fun, because it's got lots of peaks and troughs (so there's are quiet moments for girls to wipe mess from their eyes and reload with ammo between frenzied food fighting) and sort of 'punctuated moments' that would be perfect for planting a pie or hurling a bucket of mess.

Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' would be fun for the same reasons.

Something jolly like 'Life of Reilly' (Lightning Seeds) would be good.

The next time I make a messy compilation for youtube.com, however, I'm planning to use 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun' (Cyndi Lauper).

Phantom

ps - wait a minute ... sorry, Madrox. I've just re-read that all and realised I've got the wrong end of the stick. I think you're asking about the kind of music you'd like in the background when you have a private messy session .... I was thinking more along the lines of what music I'd use to accompany a WAM scene if someone gave me a load of cash to make whatever messy scene I wanted.

For a private messy scene, I'd probably go for some Chemical Brothers, Some Fatboy Slim, some of Blur's faster stuff (Song 2, MOD) ... ummmm that remix of Elvis' "A little less conversation"

Lady Jasmine is a huge Meatloaf / Jim Steinman fan, we've done several shoots ith "Bat Out Of Hell II" as the soundtrack. Also regularly played are John Satriani, Inkubus Sukkubus, The Ghost Of Lemora, Manowar, Iron Maiden, and a variety of random Goth compilations.

Lady J's slave girl Maiden commented a few weeks back, that if anyone had told her a few years ago that she'd be sitting in a purple basement, wearing a fancy satin and velvet evening dress which was being filled with Tesco custard, while listening to Rammstein, she'd never have believed them. 8)

Have the orginal classic 'hardcore uproar' stuck in me head now. Can see Sploshman singing 'please do it this time' lol

Bill has written a rather good parody of Dead Ringer for Love about a girl into sploshing and a Meatloaf biker type who can't be arsed leaving the pub to do it with her (not autobiographical or anything!). Right at the end of that, it goes into the Meat character singing "I will do anything for a laugh...but I won't do that!"

It would be a nightmare to film cos it would need a rock band with a female vocalist to do a soundalike version (to avoid copyright problems) plus a Cher lookalike Splosh! model and two locations (pub and messy bedroom) - all for about 5 mins of film. But if the download thing takes off he'll do it cos he loves parodies.

Hayley

PS I know that wasn't what you asked originally Madrox. Sorry.

PPS The answer to that sadly is no music at all - we are too busy talking dirty and roleplaying!

np Oysterband - Blood Wedding ..... 4.03ins

Surely a possible wedding day sketch with tom soup, ketchup, red wine etc ... just be wary of the line of "Grandad pissing up the wall ...."

And there is the line of "what you see is what you get" for a red pie in the face!

Other things would have to be rawk tracks, some of the goth stuff and maybe some of the EBM techno stuff ...

That creates one hell of an image ... just seeing a pie in the face/boobs going in at force as Du Hast screams from the sound system!

Dungeon Master One - now that's a coincidence!

Only a few days ago I spent the best part of an afternoon watching videos of Meatloaf and Iron Maiden on youtube. There's some great stuff on there (an awesome live version of 'Revelations' from a few years back, with Bruce on vocals).

I actually made a playlist, which i called "nudie boopers" cos thats a slang i had for being naked "ahhh you're in your nudie boopers!"

anyway, playlist. I had everything from In Flames and Lamb of God, to The Darkness and of course Shirley Temples Oh My Goodness , with the lines-

"i wanna make mud pies,
in fact i'd like to be a mess!
I wanna make mud pies!
I know that I'd find happiness..... if i had

Jam on my fingers
Chocolate in my face and
Molasses all over my dress!"

i love rob zombie and rammstein, and of course my boyfriends band Sixkiller Zero (minor plug)

Hi Phantom!

Would that be the one from the "Live After Death" album (which is mainly (totally?) from the World Slavery Tour) by any chance? Revalations is an awe-inspiring track, the entire first verse is lifted wholesale from the Church Of England Hymnal - just look up "Oh God Of Earth And Altar" in the "index of first lines" and the whole thing is there.

I somehow forgot to mention the other band all the girls (and I) are huge fans of - Nightwish! Nothing quite like filming an all-out session with all of the "Century Child" album pounding from the speakers. 8)
