Forum rules - where are they?

Postby DungeonMasterOne » 30 Nov 2006, 00:53

Sorry if this is a silly question, but as Leonmomin mentioned "forum rules", can someone point me at where they may be found? I just know I've missed something really obvious but I can't see a rules post anywhere? Want to check I'm not breaking form with the .sig or anything else.

Ta!

We don't have too many! They are in the sticky Welcome post. They are really about not being abusive and not spamming. We also have a sort of unwritten rule that says "No pics no plug" so if you are promoting another site do so in a way that it isnteresting to readers of this one, not just a link. Don't worry we would let you know if you break any!

Sorry!!

I had put a banner in my signature when I first joined here! I then realised that I don't think I was supposed to! I don't think it was marketing my site in an interesting way, banners are just plain plugs!

Am I OK with the text link to Gungemaster.com? I've changed it to all on one line to save people's screen space.

I was hoping to contribute some sample pics (a few of the talked-about denim jumpsuit ones) this week, I had a 5-girl shoot arranged for last Sunday, studio cleared and repainted, substances bought (we cleared three Tesco supermarkets of 1 litre custard cartons, plus there will be beans, treacle, and a lot else) - and then on Saturday evening while out buying a few final touches for the shoot, the central heating boiler went FUBAR and that was the end of that idea. It's still off, the plumber has looked but it needs a part (I think the solenoid that lets gas into the burners has jammed shut), so now hoping to do some of the shoot this weekend coming, if we can get the heat back on. Though on the good side, the landlord's waiving the rent till it's fixed.

The really annoying thing is the big shoot (actually three one and two girl scenes all shot together) was supposed to provide enough material for me to finally re-open the site. If only the boiler had lasted another 24 hours all would have been well. Grrr!!!

the signature is fine. its more the posts that say "come join my site, only blah di blah price..." then the person doesnt stick around or contribute y'know?

the people who simply join to put a plug up then fuck off. we are (well we try) about community spirit as well as being horny happy messy folk :)

good luck with getting the shoots done, sounds like mega stress!

*hugs and kisses*

Aww, thanks!

(*HUGS*) back!

That makes sense. Think I'll be sticking around, I like it here! Been lurking on the UMD off and on since it started, and all the way back to the start of asfwam before that. Nice to see UK-based forums taking off at last, nothing against Americans, but there does seem to be a subtle difference between the way people on opposite sides of the pond approach the subject.

Variety is the spice of life (especially when it's being poured into your dungarees, running down inside, and filling your wellies).

Signatures are fine as Dolly says and we would welcome any pictures when you get the site up and running.

I sympathise with the central heating problem. As I told in an earlier post, the first time Dolly came down and the Bizarre mag team were turning up the shower broke and a new one had to be installed at 7am that day. So my best wishes.

Hayley is well up for seeing the dungaree/jumpsuit shots.
