Hey DD, you talked about Camden Town before - have you ever been to this place?

Also are you still planning on coming down to the meet up this Saturday?

Unfortunately, money matters arose, and i had to put my trip back (again) by 2 weeks. The charity gig in Brighton really dented my funds.

Shame though.

As for the Dev in Camden. It is a very nice place indeed. Been there just the once. :)

If you happen to see an old man with wispy grey hair, shambling in, probably clutching a Tesco bag, please don't kick the doddering old fool out into the gutter because it will be ME! :)

Looking forward to seeing you; I got my tickets this morning.

Richard.

Sadly the Jonny Wam Meet World Tour will not be stopping at Londonium this time. I think the provincial meets are better anywho!

Keep em peeled for a Pasty/Cider/Dumppling Meet soon

hi guys.....and ladies....

I've never been to meet before, but have had private sploshing sessions, and been to Bills at Splosh, for private sploshing session with the legendry Sammy-Jane.

May be around the West End this Sat and will try to pop in.

Can someone tell me the nearest tube.

Also familiar with some of the Camden Venues, and had a goth friend who was into sploshing..ah...happy memories.

Would be good to meet you all so will try to attend.

Best wishes

Hello, it's always great to hear from new people. Hopefully see you there. below are the directions again, you can also refer to http://umd.net/forums.html?topicid=6602 ... 04&start=0 for a map and a picture of the pub.

THE VENUE: The Old Explorer - 23 Great Castle Street - W1G 0JA ( Just off Oxford Street )

This is a much larger pub than what we have been used to so plenty of seating and standing room. This pub has a main bar upstairs and an additional bar downstairs. It has a range of Real Ales, Beers, alcopops and spirits also hot food is available. I have also arranged for a free buffet for us all as long as we have over 15 people and ive also reserved some tables for us all. As the venue is alot bigger everyone please bring an A-Z or Tube Map, plenty of maps will make it easy for new comers to spot.

We will most likely be based at the back of the main bar in a raised area, below a tv and close to the main fruit machine area.

Also you will be please to know we have an extra hours drinking time, with also a chance of maybe moving to another venue after - depending on what everyone wants to do. Who knows what looms.

NEAREST TUBE: Oxford Circus

DIRECTIONS: Come out of Oxford Circus station and cross the lights heading in the Regent Street direction, immediately take the first left into great Castle Street and you will see the pub. That's it.

Tottenham court Road Tube is not to far away either, simply come out the station and walk all the way up Oxford Street, take a right into regents street ( heading towards great portland Street ) then almost immediately take a left into Great Castle Street and you will see the pub. Also alot of Buses pass run near by.

Hope this helps you.

I'd like to come (no tittering), but dorset's a long way from - as we call it here - 'that place up north' - so what's the likelyhood of a crash-over at someones?
I think therefore I WAM...

By the way it is a shame that not that many women seem to be coming. Surely talking about WAM is far more interesting with women.

Good luck, guys!

Both Bill and I are working (separately) so no chance we'll be there. Now had it been last week....

Do let us know what happens.
