I got this from Dean at Eromaxx:

So Eromaxx are fine with me using their freebie clips to make a music video. The next question is - where can I host the 10 minute clip I've made. It's a really good clip and I'm sure anyone who likes messy sex will love it.

Youtube is out because of all the blow jobs, sex, nudity etc in the clip.

Is there a current 'Wammonkey' style site I can upload it to?

Or, Bill - would you like to host it as part of 'Channel Free'?

Let me know folks, and I'll share this movie with anyone who wants to see it,

That's the problem - I can't email it .. it's a whopping 146mb !!

So i need a site I can upload it to. i'm no computer boffin either, so I also need someone who can tell me how to do that (uploading to youtube was easy - they have a handy step-by-step facility that lets anyone upload).

Hope we can sort it out, as I think it would be a nice little addition to Channel Free and a thank you to Splosh for this forum.

I'm happy to upload it to several places, so if anyone knows other places too, let me know.

if u are going to load it onto someones site u are going to need an ftp programme like cuteftp etc,plus u would need the access ip etc create the folders etc via the control panel unless the owner does all this for you.

Easiest way might be if Bill can do it is just send a cd over.
Plus there are loads of different ways you can format it, on Wamchantelle we always used a wmv format.

It is WMV file.

With sites like WAM Monkey, you could just upload direct to the site. I'm sure there are other similar sites now in the WAM community.

Would love to know how this one works out, I have the same problem, I have some vids from Scarlets and the web cam that I cannot upload they are just too big???

To make a large file available on the web, it obviously has to be stored on a server somewhere that an HTML file can point to. To transfer a file from a web-connected PC to a server you use an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program, which is basically a file manager across the web, with bells and whistles (in some implementations). Easy to get lost in the jargon, but its not really complicated.

I thought you were joking with pornotube!! I tried to follow the link twice and it gave me 'site not found' ...so I thought you were messing around making a pun on youtube.

Any thoughts on why the link didn't work? Maybe it's not a .com but a .org or a .net or something.

Oh yeah, have you checked your firewall settings? You might have an IP range blocked that happens to cover the site address. Had that problem with wamchristina.com a while back...
