Scarlet Magazine with Splosh Feature Out Now!!!!

Postby DecadentDoll » 30 Oct 2006, 15:38

i thought it wasnt going to be until the 21st November, but Lo and Behold, my wonderful flatmate bought me a copy of Scarlet magazine, as she found me and Emily on page 40 of it!!!!

Has cheered me up no end, imagine not being able to pay £2.50 for a magazine you're in?! Lol ahhh gotta laugh or you'll cry really :P

Anyway, the article is wonderful, Emily describes our food fight and there are about 5 pictures including a few lovely messy ones :) lots of custard ahoy!

You can buy the magazine in WH Smiths. Its not rude so you can't get embarrassed. It's much like Cosmo. Plus, nobody in Smiths cares what you buy guys, so grow a pair ;) Pretend it's for someone at the office or for your missus.

I might scan in one of the pics, but i hate scanners. lol.

Much Love

DD x

That's the date Emily told me too. And no she hasn't sent me a copy either!! So I think an e-mail is in order!

They are also supposed to be sending me pictures. So I shall wake them up.

Mean time do go out and buy it. We had a great time, and Emily was a great sport.

Oooh can you ask about sample portfolio piccies for me if they've got any good ones?

Good job i didnt wait until 21st, it might have been gone from the shop by then!

It was a great day, Emily was/is very very cool and the mag also has a Dita Von Teese feature for you all to jizz over.

Well I am certainly up for the cup . . . it is every man's fantasy, really ! To have my very own set . . . Mmmmmmmmm !

I have endlessly dreamed of growing a pair and even tried, but no matter how much I desire to, I am not destined to wear a bra. Ever.
Do you know how sad that makes me feel ?

I once grew a pair of tits, well nurtured is a better word, their mother had abandoned the nest ( she flew off with the neighbouring sparrow in an ultimately doomed but torrid affair ) just after they were hatched. I had to get up early every morning, bleary eyed but with a heart full of love and compassion, to catch the early worms ( apparently the juciest and bestest )
and put them on to some lightly toasted brown bread with two fluid ounces of puddle water in a tiny beaker for their beaks
( haha ! no pun intended - hmmm is that why they are called beakers . . . hmmm ***wonders*** . . . ) !

I did this for two weeks, both morning and evening, until the RSPCBA eventually relented to my persistant phone calls for help, and took them away. . . . .
It was a sad day as I had felt for the first time, yet not the last, a maternal pang . . . . . as if my offspring were leaving the family nest . . .

:(
Who ate all the pies ? What a waste of pie !

I'll definately be checking that out. And I'm not embarrased about buying such things in Smiths. If the girl behind the counter gives me a quizzical look, I'll just say that I'm gay. Simple.
Look, if you're all going to throw pies around would you mind throwing them at me!!!

Here's hoping more people take your brave lead. If a 22 yr old girl can be seen buying Razzle and not care, and a cool guy like yourself can be buying the Uk's answer to a filthier cosmo...

then nobody has anything to fear :)

Emily, the writer of the feature - and victim! - has just e-mailed Bill to say that the Editor of Scarlet reckons "it's the best feature she's done!"

So, well worth pretending to be Welshcakes and getting one.
