On a totally different note, DD ... I keep wondering how tall you are. I can't work it out from your pics .. .are your quite small? (5' 2"?) Or are you a little bit shorter than me? (I'm 5'11")

I'm thinking - you're quite small, but your big chest gives the illusion of extra size. Just curious.

To be honest DD I was always more impressed with your big chest than how tall you were!

Well next time you are don't make comments on the forum. You are enough trouble sober.

To re-iterate,

1) I put Claire's pics up in the form I receive them except, like all the pics I receive, I optimize them. She sends them to me by email first. Whether she makes them smaller so as to make sending them easier, I don't know. If she is, she may be sending us worse pictures...

2) I appreciate that you have 'the right' to sell your full priced Splosh! material second hand. I would hate to see you 'out of pocket' (I'm so delighted you see our material in that way!). However, if everyone swaps material you ARE depriving companies who have made the material (of whatever size) of much-needed revenue. That along with the freebie sites which you were promoting earlier as the future of WAM will kill the business off.

3) Splosh!'s market share is purely down to being around for 18 years, sheer hard work and a LOT of financial investment on the way. Unlike you, we didn't worry about being 'left out of pocket'. We went out and built a business. In fact, now that so many people download material rather than buy it I would say our market share is pretty poor compared to some. We are probably the best place to go for buying physical WAM goods like DVDs, mags etc in Europe but the likes of Bound 2Be Messy and the American companies are kings of the download (at the moment!).

4) Get my fucking name right.

Having nothing better to do than look at DD covered in green gunge (is there anything better to do?) I had a look at the pics on UMD and those on here and the ones on here are actually better quality! They are the same physical size but the file size is bigger in here. I've always though Splosh was the best ;)

hey hey hey - getting angry is one thing, but get your facts straight when you rant!

I didn't trade my wam material. I sold some of it second hand, and I gave the rest away free. I recouped a small fraction of the hundreds of pounds I had spent on it. That's right - I don't just lurk around the internet grabbing what I can for free ... I've spent lots of money over the years, on both British and American messy material. Not only that - I've ALWAYS sung the praises of the likes of Splosh, WSM etc and done my best to promote their sales.

I wasn't promoting youtube etc as the future of WAM - just observing that, like it or not, that's the way things are headed. The smallest production companies and the largest production companies in the world are all going to suffer (are already suffering) at the hands of freely distributed material. If you read my posts again you'll see that I said it wasn't right that it's going to happen - just that it's inevitable. I hardly think youtube needs promoting ...they're doing just fine themselves.

You can be assured that when splosh's entire back catalogue starts to show up on bit torrent and similar sites, I certainly won't be downloading it. Stealing from a small, friendly, hard-working community is something I don't plan to do.

by the way - what do you mean I'm enough trouble sober?

I don't recall causing any trouble. I've taken part in various debates. I've contributed to various light-hearted threads. I've asked a few triva questions. I've commented on a few wam-related posts.

I don't recall being troublesome.

I don't think for one moment she was ranting, but you sound like you are. Just calm down.

BTW, giving material away may make you St Phantom of Assisi but it doesn't actually make matters better for the producer, it makes them worse.

Oh, and in answer to your second post. Calling somene else in the business a cunt in your very first post and causing us all kinds of trouble with him isn't exactly endearing.

(SORRY THIS BIT HAS BEEN REMOVED AS IT IS JUST REPEATING THE PROBLEM YOU CAUSED BEFORE)

Bill - I'm not trying to make trouble for your forum. Splosh was my first ever REAL exposure to adult WAM. I think of Splosh as the cornerpost of British wam.

I love debate. I love speaking my mind when there's something to discuss. I love having a joke and a laugh. ... I never rant. I always think carefully about what I say and I usually re-read my posts before posting them.

With all due respect, and i understand what you're saying, the old thread "gungeslut please read this(re sept meet up) ... was something we didnt need to hear over here, and caused much heated annoyance (for me and some others) for a while.

thats the one i can think of. i said at the time and maintain that you should have simply emailed her, instead of bringing the umd argument here, simply because you are unable to post there.

Apart from that, I don't wish to enter into an argument or fight over anything. We're all here because we love splosh and sploshing (i hope)

As you were, people.

DD

I've just discussed that very same thread with Bill by PM. At that time, I didn't see it as deliberate trouble-making ... just healthy debate ... a topic that was discussed back and forth without ever breaking down into an exchange of insults. We're all adults after all!

Sorry if it caused you upset.

As we were.

I don't want to rake it up again, merely found it an applicable example of what could be construed as troublemaking.

I did not know it was being discussed in PM.

Thank you for your apology.
